Stunning. Well maintained, modern yet with respect for its history. The many photos of royalty and the hotel's background in the main building, a nod to the colonial past. The breakfast is one of the best I've encountered and to eat on the terrace after swimming, a great start to the day! Jane and the team in the restaurant are great. Reception humorous and helpful. The al a carte was varied , healthy and tasty. The view from the room was stunning with distant comings and goings out at sea. Best night sleep for ages. Albert Park opposite is a place to walk as is the purpose stretch along the coast. Suva town 10 minutes walk away. Fantastic stay!!

The management and staff are wonderful. New Years Eve party hosted by the Manager for the staff members was amazing and staff enjoyed themselves together with guests. The whole team is well looked after by management. Would like to make special mention that I had forgotten part of my luggage and the staff organised a courier and couriered the item to me by packaging nicely. Very friendly and nothing is too much of a ask.
Completely refurbished in 2019, including all guest rooms and public areas, Tanoa Plaza features rooms with lovely harbour or city views and is only 700 metres from Suva Harbour.
The hotel location is excellent - just a few hundred meters away from landmark sites, such as Albert Park, the Thurston botanical garden and the Fiji Museum. The comfort of my room was great and the view was exceptional, amazing, superb. But above all, the greatest asset of the Tanoa Plaza Hotel is its staff. I began my stay in Suva with two days of leisure activities, staying on for another five days to run a workshop with participants from 6 countries from the region. The hotel general manager Mere went above and beyond to provide great customer service and ensure that everything runs smoothly for us. Special thanks also to Anisha (Reception) for her great professionalism, efficiency and helpfulness. Book at the Tanoa Plaza, Suva to feel welcome, cared for and to enjoy Suva to the fullest.

Beautiful spacious room with friendly staff. Lovely breakfast included. 10 minutes walk from port. Only hotel to stay in Levuka. 50 fiji dollars return (about £17) for bus and boat from Suva.
