Hotels on the Faroe Islands

What a wonderful guesthouse! So beautiful and comfortable, with a cute cafe, an elegant dining room and a delightful owner! It’s a reason all by itself to visit Sandoy. I can’t say enough good things about it.

We really liked the atmosphere of this hotel. The breakfast was rich with many options and the room was really nice. It is placed in a good location so you can set your base for doing your hikes

I really like the arrangement of the room. The collage on the wall was a really nice touch to the room, with some historical information about the Faroes. The location is very near the dock and best restaurants in the area. I would like to stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located near town and all the major roads to adventure around the Faroes. The hotel staff was probably some of the nicest people I have ever encountered at a hotel reception. The food was delicious at the hotel restaurant, the beds were comfortable and clean, and I especially loved the separate shower (that was quite large) and toilet closet. I will be staying here again when I return to the Faroe Islands in September!

Extremely local to the airport. As a matter of fact if you don't mind a little walking you could actually walk there. When you come out of the luggage area turn left. You would have to then turn right and walk up to the main road, walk only a couple of feet and then turn left again. They should definitely make a straight path for people who want to walk there. A taxi is definitely super easy.

Good breakfast. Quiet location. Within walking distance of a very nice park with a walking path.

The peacefulness of the area up against the Sea. The rooms are clean, breakfast is great, and there is plenty of hot water for showering. The bed is comfy and only a 9 minute walk into town.

Location was perfect for exploring the area around the waterfront. We could walk to ferry restaurants, churches, fort. A little crazy to get to in middle of "downtown" area. You have to park in public lot about 3 blocks away. You have to set a clock on your car to show when you got to lot, then you have hours free parking. But you don't have to pay overnight...a little confusing but we basically never had to pay to park.

Located in the heart of the capital of Torshavn right across from the harbor. My room was large, relaxing, and clean. Wilhelm at the front desk was very helpful. He checked me in as my flight was cancelled. I was able to go to my room immediately when I arrived the next day. He was also very pleasant to talk to and full of information just like the lady who also works the front desk. Breakfast is served daily. And, there is a Thai restaurant open in the evening. I would definitely stay here again!
