Amazing place, super friendly staff, I even got gluten free buns packed for me for travel, that was super nice. It was cheaper than other hotels. There was kettle in the room, huge bonus.

The breakfasts were excellent, the view of the fjord was fantastic, we also ordered a Greenlandic buffet dinner - a great culinary experience. Overall, we were very satisfied, the staff was helpful and willing. The communication from the reception before and during our holiday was great. The free transfer from the airport to the hotel and to the harbour when we left for Disko Island was seamless.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ilulissat. It’s quiet, well set up and with helpful staff. We had fantastic views from our room overlooking the icebergs and town. It seems the best hotel for location as it is in the town centre so you can walk to everything. Although if required taxis are inexpensive and were quick to arrive. The Hotel also has alternative pillows available (memory foam) and our room had good blockout curtains. There is a rooftop restaurant with a veranda with spectacular views. Menus were small but the food good. Breakfast is included in the room rate.

I loved staying here! Comfortable room, nice selection for breakfast and a short walk to the harbour for those fjord cruises or heading into Nuuk. Staff were so lovely and patient as I tried to learn some Greenlandic too! Qujanaq! Would stay here again!

Great location, we had a view at the Sisimiut museum. The restaurant staff were very flexible and helpful, they assembled a vegan meal for us, even though there was none in the menu.
