It was very clean, the stuff was very very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good, the hotel and the rooms very nice decorated, the place was magical, the view from the room was astonishing. It was really Irish countryside. It was like a fairytale. Thank you!

Staying at Markree Castle was definitely the highlight of our 3-week trip around Ireland. We felt so fortunate that we decided on Markree after conducting meticulous research on Irish castle stays. It was our first time staying in a castle and we felt like royals! We loved exploring the historical castle, and there was even more to take in than we expected - from a great number of beautifully decorated rooms and spaces to the abbey and the lovely grounds. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent and all the staff were most kind and helpful. Our room was very elegant, clean and had a nice view as well. Our stay was magical and didn't lack a thing!

We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. Newly opened, apparently only operational for 5 week, this boutique hotel has been decorated to the highest standards and is very conveniently located just off the main square. Continental breakfast of the highest equality. Only passing through and staying one night but wished stat was longer.

Beautifully decorated, all amenities and rooms clean, staff were attentive and helpful, food was gorgeous and the whole experience was 10/10
This luxury hotel has a magical location amid the Bluestack Mountains, on the edge of Lough Eske. It is 6 km from Donegal town and offers gourmet food and a romantic atmosphere.
Everything about the hotel and venue was spectacular. The only fault we had is that our magnificent room was next to the elevator, which, of course, operated all night. It wasn't horribly loud, but it was a bit annoying.

It was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. 2 bottles of water left. Plenty coffee and tea left for us, to make our own. More than enough biscuits as well. Very central location.

Overall a very exeptionally outstanding experience!
