I spent three incredible days at Corrib Lodge with my wife, and as a fishing enthusiast, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Lodge is located right on the lake, with private access, and the views are absolutely stunning , but what really makes the difference is the fishing. This place is run by an Italian owner who’s not only a great chef but also a passionate and knowledgeable guide. Every day we went out on the lake with him, fully equipped with top-notch gear, exploring hidden spots, landing great catches, and hearing fascinating stories about the lake’s history. We even stopped on remote islands and visited old castles along the way. They also organize deep-sea fishing trips for those who want to explore the ocean, a great option I’ll definitely try next time. The whole team is friendly and professional, and the atmosphere is relaxed but well-run. If you love fishing and want something truly special, Corrib Lodge is the place. I’ll be back for sure.

We were very fortunate to secure this booking and found the facilities to be first class and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect for our needs and was quiet, secure and handy to the start of the Wild Atlantic Way. Good on-site parking. The breakfast and other small touches were very much appreciated. It was spotlessly clean and it was great having a fridge in our room.. bathroom was gorgeous and staff were very friendly and helpful would recommend highly..

A very elegant hotel, undoubtedly, although we are glad that we spent only one night there, because the luxury and modernity of another 5 star hotel in Dublin we stayed the second night also made a huge impression on us, it's up to you what you like, if you prefer a noble hotel or more modern but definitely the Merrion will be one of our favorites in Dublin. The building is very noble, inside there is a beautiful garden that delights in summer, and in winter it is simply there, the staff took great care of us, the room was very comfortable, the bed too.

From the moment we checked in we knew we were in for a treat. I was traveling with 2 other friends and had booked a room for 3, figuring we’d be drawing straws on who gets the single bed. To our delighted surprise, the spacious room was set up with 3 very comfortable twin beds. Can’t say enough about the wonderful staff. Sorry to leave

absolute stunning hotel, beautiful decorated entrance, wonderful room with view onto the river, very friendly staff, although frequency at breakfast a bit too much, wonderful surroundings, extremely recommendable, library is beautiful

Exceptional hotel in a once a stately home in a quiet, pastoral and beautiful setting. Staff excellent on every level. Food was delicious. A 10-15 minute easy walk into town proper.
