The place was peaceful, and I felt safe the whole time. Dinner was served in the Bedouin style and was even better than I expected. Breakfast was delicious, and we also enjoyed a wonderful six-hour jeep tour with our driver, Mahmoud. We visited breathtaking tourist sites, and sitting around the fire with tea was a delight. We also went on a stargazing trip, which was a truly amazing experience.

Location is more secluded than the other camps which you drive past so that is nice, you don't feel like you are on display. We went in August which was violently hot and the aircon only worked after dinner, along with wifi, but you can find some shade and sit there for the time being

Ayla’s camp hospitality is on another level. Everyone went above and beyond to take care of us, organise our jeep adventures and be flexible with the timings. The family environment made it enjoyable for my son who’s 3 years old and the camp tents were really comfortable too. With so many camp options in the area, I’d recommend this camp.

It was a wonderful visit. We were welcomed at the meeting point they sent us and followed them with our car, but since it couldn’t drive on the sand, we parked it for free and they took us to the camp in a 4x4. The welcome was warm with Arabic coffee, chocolate, and cold drinks. They showed us the tours they offer, and we chose a 4-hour desert tour with stargazing. At first, the sky was cloudy, but then it cleared up, and we enjoyed watching the stars with a cup of tea by the fire. Dinner was exceptional, cooked underground. We’ll definitely come back if we visit Jordan again. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had.
