The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. I would definitely recommend and i hope one day myself to return.

We ate once in the hotel to try the Japanese breakfast. It was nice but definitely not for western children.
