The Welcome was great Food was excellent Bed was very comfortable This small hotel was the best stay we had in Japan. We stayed only one night but all was perfect from the first minute to the last one. Diner was great and the host was very nice. Definitely to recommend!

The location is ideal—a short walk from the train station and from Kanazawa’s main attractions like Kenrokuen Garden and the Omicho Market, yet wonderfully peaceful. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. One highlight of our stay was the staff!. Every detail reflected the hotel’s dedication to quality and authenticity. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return to Hotel Kanazawa Zoushi. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kanazawa—this hotel truly elevates the experience of this beautiful city!

Hands down, it ranks as one of the best designed rooms I have stayed at (and I’ve traveled for work & leisure for decades). Soundproof, comfy bed, climate controlled perfection, serene zen garden glimpses from the bedroom and bathroom, plugs-USB ports and extra mobile chargers intuitively on each side bedside table, indirect lighting options to set the mood, the bathroom stocked with anything you might need, tea kettle with local Uji tea. The breakfast offered fresh fish, rice, miso soup, green tea, sweet local delicacy (sesame tofu, matcha mochi). The staff was exceptionally professional, polite, attentive and courteous.

Incredibly attentive and friendly staff. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Breakfast was amazing, with the choice between European and Japanese breakfast. A nice amenity is the poolside “happy hour” with drinks (beer, prosecco and non-alcoholic) from 12 until 6 o’clock. I only wish my stay here had been longer.
