Our family stay there for 3 nights during December 2024. Very cozy and comfortable experience. Close to ski entrance in walking distance. Rika made different and delicious breakfast for us every morning and Gareth took very good care to us, even lend us cash when we forgot our wallet on the way to ski. Near Hemije only 30mins away on local JR train, so convenient for visiting Hemije castle. This is a truly authentic Ryokan in a small town. The town is unremarkable, but the rooms and the meal was absolutely Fantastic, and perhaps the most authentic experience of a Ryokan we had over a 16 day trip in Japan. I would definitely recommend and i hope one day myself to return.

Well located in the centre of Kyoto, Hotel Muso provides 3-star accommodation close to Gion Shijo Station and Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall.
Very good location within walking distance from the station and close to the bus stops. We had a very nice and reasonably spacious room. The Muso has wonderful helpful staff and thank you in particular to Ryo for looking after us. The hotel is quiet but within an easy walk of restaurants and shops. A reasonable walk to Kawaramachi and Gojo to see some of the many highlights in Kyoto.
