Leel's place is the best place we have being in entire Sri Lanka. The place is well cleaned, beautiful, calm and romantic. Leel is a wonderful host, honest and decent, taking care of everything, making sure you will have the best stay. Leel's mother cook delicious food, served so well. The breakfast was made by Leel's wife and it was so good and tasty. Leel is the best Safari guide you will ever find in Udawalawe. He knows all the best spots in the park and provided us the best Safari experience we could ever ask for. I wish Leel all the best and I definitely recommend you to visit.

Honestly, the stay at Amba Kola was one highlight of our Sri Lanka vacation. The host is very nice, supportive and welcoming. We very enjoyed the safari trip and a boat trip he organised for us. We participated at the cooking class which was very fun. The food on general was great. The place is beautiful and has great rooms. We would definitely come again and can warmly recommend to stay at Amba Kola

The entire team were so friendly and helpful during our stay. Everyone is so passionate and knowledgeable, we loved the spice tour and the ayurvedic massages! The room was spotless and the food was delicious. One of our favourite ever holidays.

Lovely authentic place. In our two weeks holiday with a lot of luxery resorts, this was the one we have the warmest feeling about. When you are looking for a not so touristic area, some magnificent views, a little farm life, and some great staff, go here. Oh and go for the Sri Lanken Kitchen, that’s better then the European:)

This was the best place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. Everything was clean and beautiful, the staff and the owner were super kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. It’s also a paradise for dog lovers (they have 4 beautiful dogs). Hope to come back one day. ☺️
