From the very first moment, we felt right at home. The hosts were incredibly caring and kind, making us feel like part of their family. Their warm welcome and continuous attentiveness made our stay truly special. One highlight was definitely the tour with the host (Rabi) to see the lorises. These fascinating creatures, which are hardly seen anywhere else in the world, left us completely enchanted. It was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend. Thank you for this unforgettable time – we will definitely be coming back!

Such a beautiful oasis in the middle of jungle. Easy access to nationalpark, restaurants, Udawalawe lake etc. while still feeling secluded and private. Beautiful rooms and shared spaces!

Everything at Amba Kola was exceptional - especially the people. Louise, Janik, and Janik’s whole family are the loveliest people you will meet. The food is fantastic - everything is locally sourced and prepared with the finest spices and lots of love (Janik’s mom is an award-winning cook by the way). At Amba Kola the hosts will go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. They took us around in their safari jeep to see the elephants and wildlife and we even went swimming in the canal! The room (and the whole property) are lovely with so many personal touches to it. Louise is an artist and her art is present all over the place! Also, the outdoor bathroom is unique. I showered in the dark under the stars - an experience like no other. All I can say is: Come to Amba Kola and see for yourself. These people deeply care for what they do and it shows in every aspect. You won’t be disappointed!

Kindness, smiles, responsiveness and attentiveness of these girls will not leave anyone indifferent :) We would also like to mention the incredible staff of the hotel - you will always be treated with attention and incredibly delicious food :) Very sad to leave this corner of paradise, we will miss you very much! We had a fantastic stay at ocean bliss villa mirissa with the reasonable price and is good value for money. 'A truly home like stay'. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect ans amazing - closed to Kamburugamuwa beach, Mirissa beach and Madiha beach. We got the breakfast also. It was very delicious. I higherly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Mirissa , Kamburugamuwa , Madiha , Polhena and Matara areas and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Uyana Hotel in Ahangama was a peaceful escape from the Ahangama city. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made for a truly relaxing stay. A huge thank you to Janaka, the manager, whose exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. The freshly prepared breakfast was a daily highlight—especially the sweet mangoes and refreshing coconut water. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and warm, personalized service

What a fantastic place! The location is amazing, right next to the rainforest and overlooking beautiful rice paddies. The place is run by a lovely friendly family who went over and above to accommodate us and ensure we had a brilliant stay. The guided tour through the rainforest was fantastic, the guide is very knowledgeable and passionate about the rainforest and its wildlife. The food was delicious and they accommodated us being veggie. They helped us sort a taxi to our next place. Can't fault the place, would definitely return if we come back to Sri Lanka!
