I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

We had the pleasure of staying at Margosa Mountain Villa, and it was an unforgettable experience.  It's  really an amazing place to stay. We were completely impressed with the quality and tranquillity of the Marogosa. The atmosphere of the location is splendid. The rooms are more spacious, clean, and neat. All required facilities are there. The owner and his wife cook foods deliciously. The response rate is 💯. We definitely choose the same venue in our next leisure since it's absolutely more than the money that we paid.

Leels safari cottage, a pocket of paradise. we spontaneously booked our stay here for 2 nights in hopes to do a safari. We’ve been travelling Sri Lanka for over a month now and I can say this has been the nicest place we have stayed at. The pictures are exactly like the place which we were so pleased about, the room its self is beautiful, comfortable beds, beautiful layout and decoration with the blessing of air con and a fan. They also supply mosquito nets, this was the first place we weren’t bitten once! As for the bathroom it’s wonderful, full of plants with an rainforest vibe. It’s all so clean and well stocked with a kettle, wardrobe, shelf’s and great mirrors. The attention to detail is amazing you can tell a lot of love and hard work has been put into this place. The lighting is lovely giving it a cosy feel. We had breakfast included and added on dinner for both nights as the food was too good! Cooked by the loveliest ladies who do everything they can to make sure you’re happy. So much selection for both breakfast and dinner really yummy and enjoyable. It’s the perfect place to relax but also seek adventure. We woke up early one morning to go for a run, the area is lovely everybody smiles and says hello. and the views are really beautiful with thriving nature. We went to an elephant orphanage near by, luckily they know people for transport etc and Leel suggested this activity for us, we didn’t know about this place prior our visit! But so glad we went it was amazing! Our second day was Safari day, we were delighted that Leel himself is one of the greatest safari tour drivers, so we set off early in the morning and embarked on our safari around Udawalawe. I know it will be one of my favourite memories we are really grateful for Leel and his dedication to make sure we had the best time and see as many beautiful animals as possible! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Safari organized by the hotel was great. Food in the restaurant was also very good! So we can truly recommend this place!

Absolutely amazing stay super close to the Udawalava national park entrance. Amazing hospitality and super culinary experience. One of the best stays in Sri Lanka for sure.

The super friendly staff, who went out of their way to make our stay memorable (eg when my daughter hurt herself they produced a toy elephant for her to keep, or making different dishes of food because had never tried them). Added to this the very relaxed vibe of the place made it the perfect place to end our holiday.

Wonderful, tastefully decorated hotel. Lots of attention to detail. Cozy, quiet and clean. The hotel is in a busy area, but it doesn't feel it inside at all. The room we stayed in has the option of sliding the glass windows and forming a common space with a terrace. All you have in front of you is the ocean. Arriving from the airport is really easy - almost the entire way is on a toll highway. The hotel staff is extremely pleasant and kindly. I'm not even talking about Francesca. She's amazing!!! Thank you for the early check in and late check out. I haven't had a tastier breakfast in those regions. Even the espresso was good, which is rare in Sri Lanka or I haven't been in right places. Be sure to try the massage. Something unique.

I absolutely loved staying at the villa! The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to nearby attractions. 1)Mirissa Beach 2) Madiha and Polhena beach 3) Kamburugamuwa beach 4) coconut tree hill The villa itself was superb — spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space, with its stunning views, breakfast was superb, was especially amazing. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the amenities to the service, truly made it a memorable experience." If you're planning a down-south tour, I highly recommend staying at this villa. It's the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and location, offering everything you need for a relaxing and memorable experience. Whether you're here to unwind or explore the area, this place is ideal for both.

We stayed for 6 nights at plantation house and loved this hotel. It was a wonderful place to relax after a few weeks travelling around Sri lanka. Peter was a brilliant host and we loved the beautiful breakfasts on the terrace. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean as are the grounds and lovely swimming pool. It’s in a lovely peaceful location, an easy 10 minute walk to the beach/ small supermarket and main road or easy to arrange a tuk tuk further into Hikkaduwa town. We had a great time and highly recommend!

The design and soul of this hotel are a direct representation of the owner (Andi). There are certain places you visit and there's a 'feeling', and this place has an abundance. The location, the calmness, everything just makes sense in the design. Every detail has been considered and designed for. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed and decorated. Janaka (manager) ensured every request was taken care of and that the whole team was always so lovely when cleaning our room or having breakfast. We can't recommend Uyana highly enough.

One of the most peaceful garden in Sri Lanka. Last minute check in, helpful staff and great time in a very luxury enviroment.

They even arrange transport for your next destination, which was a huge help. If you're seeking tranquility and natural beauty, this is an ideal choice. Highly recommended!
