I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

From the very first moment, we felt right at home. The hosts were incredibly caring and kind, making us feel like part of their family. Their warm welcome and continuous attentiveness made our stay truly special. One highlight was definitely the tour with the host (Rabi) to see the lorises. These fascinating creatures, which are hardly seen anywhere else in the world, left us completely enchanted. It was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend. Thank you for this unforgettable time – we will definitely be coming back!

they have professional cook so all meals was tasty and delicious and stuff are friendly and kind . the room was clean . the environment was quiet so you can relax , their location is near national park so you can go safari easily ,they arrange safari tour for us.

Our stay at Leel's Cottage was nothing short of perfect! The cottage was charming & cozy, offering all the comforts of home in a tranquil setting. The garden's surroundings were peaceful, with stunning views that made every moment special. The hosts were warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of - Especially Leel's mom, will treat you like your own mom! We also loved the food and the thoughtful touches, like the fresh flowers. If you are also interested in Safari, look for no other! Leel, is a truly experienced guide and his eagle eyes will spot all kind of animals, birds & flowers. Overall it was the ideal getaway, and I can't wait to return to for another relaxing stay! Incredibly attentive staff. We had swim after dark and they brought drinks to us poolside. Our son was to tired to wait for dinner so they set it up at our room instead. Thank you for the special & beautiful memories

We stay here for one night .they welcomed us well. The rooms were very clean and the staff always helped us.we had dinner here and it was really delicious and we were given curd and honey as a side dish.The Hotel provided us with a jeep and very good experience driver to go on Safari the next morning .We saw many animals in the udawalawe park.we were very happy and really recommend here for stay.

I liked everything from the friendly lady in the reception and to my checkout. The restaurant is probably the best one in this area.

10/10 – I honestly have no words. This is hospitality at the highest level. Everyone is incredibly attentive, always there for a quick chat, but never intrusive. You just feel genuinely cared for from the first minute to the last. The property itself is stunning – beautifully designed, extremely clean and perfectly maintained. And for anyone who, like me, is a bit scared of bugs: I was worried about mosquitos at first, but it turned out to be a complete non-issue. There’s no mosquito net and still… nothing. I have no idea how they do it, but it works. 😄 Breakfast is absolutely unreal – if you stay long enough, you basically get to taste everything Sri Lanka has to offer. Every morning feels like a little food adventure. The guestbook is also such a gem: full of heartfelt messages and genuinely useful insider tips for the area – we used it a lot. A special shout-out to the dogs – I absolutely loved them! They’re hilarious, calm and a bit reserved at first, but still super friendly and affectionate if you want some cuddles. They fit the whole vibe of the place perfectly. Pool, yoga shala – they have it all. Yet it somehow never feels like a big anonymous resort, but intimate, peaceful and deeply personal. I could write a whole novel about how unique this villa is, but that would probably break the review format. So I’ll keep it short: Villa Mayava is a true gem. Huge thanks to Carol and the entire team – it’s unbelievable what you’ve created here and every single one of you deserves a big round of applause. 🫶

What a beautiful place to stay! Great place to relax by the pool or use as a base to explore the area. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was delicious and really wished we could have stayed longer. The host Peter really made everything special!

Uyana Hotel in Ahangama was a peaceful escape from the Ahangama city. The peaceful setting, surrounded by nature, made for a truly relaxing stay. A huge thank you to Janaka, the manager, whose exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. The freshly prepared breakfast was a daily highlight—especially the sweet mangoes and refreshing coconut water. Highly recommended for anyone seeking tranquility and warm, personalized service
