I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

You are completely in the nature, only animals and plant sounds, you can free your soul from the rest. The staff is very kind and treat you like a friend

The place is an absolute gem, it is truly worth a 10/10. To start with the room, is is the most comfortable bed and pillows we had in Sri lanka, a great outside bathroom with no bugs, but with homemade soap and shampoo. There is so much love being put in the place, it really is just so nice! Also the common area has such a nice vibe, the swimming pool is so refreshing (we swam everyday) and the food that is cooked is so delicious. Honestly the best food we had in Sri lanka, also the breakfast was so delicious and fulfilling. They also are super helpful and arranged our safari into udawalawe for us and help us get the bus to ella. The mom and son and the rest of the staff are so thoughtful and attentive, really special stay for us.

Beautiful surroundings about 10 mins from the Park gates. It is exactly like the pictures. Clean pristine, comfortable, and convenient. Leel Namalee and their mother were extremely warm and welcoming. Cooked a wonderful dinner for us. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka.

Best staff I have experienced. The guys were so friendly. They are amazing. The food and the spice route made this a 9+ experience. They deserve everything that is coming to them. Well done! We booked this hotel on our first day, since it was close to the airport, we might book on our last day as well.

well kept place with all the amenities you need. The owners are hands-on and made our stay comfortable in every way. And the surrounding was brilliant.

We had a fantastic stay at ocean bliss villa mirissa with the reasonable price and is good value for money. 'A truly home like stay'. The staff were incredibly friendly. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect ans amazing - closed to Kamburugamuwa beach, Mirissa beach and Madiha beach. We got the breakfast also. It was very delicious. I higherly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Mirissa , Kamburugamuwa , Madiha , Polhena and Matara areas and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Jim's farm villas is the epitome of luxury, calm and beauty. Every single detail makes this place a very unique home. Sobriety and elegance are everywhere. Very committed staff. If you treasure quiet and authentic haven, this is it!

Mayava is an absolutely beautiful villa, managed by a wonderful owner and an amazing staff. The breakfasts are not only beautifully presented but also truly delicious. The pool area is fantastic, offering the perfect place to relax and enjoy peaceful moments. This hotel is quiet, full of good energy, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind. Mayava Villa has definitely raised the bar for all the hotels we will choose in the future, and we will absolutely spend more time here next time. Highly recommended!

We stayed for 6 nights at plantation house and loved this hotel. It was a wonderful place to relax after a few weeks travelling around Sri lanka. Peter was a brilliant host and we loved the beautiful breakfasts on the terrace. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean as are the grounds and lovely swimming pool. It’s in a lovely peaceful location, an easy 10 minute walk to the beach/ small supermarket and main road or easy to arrange a tuk tuk further into Hikkaduwa town. We had a great time and highly recommend!

Our family of four had a lovely stay at this property. The property is located in a quiet location with great balcony overlooking rice fields. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful - assisting with transport to and from the property and arranging a very enjoyable day safari to udawalawe National Park. We also enjoyed delicious Sri Lankan dinners plus a special breakfast with our hosts on Sinhalese New Year's Day.
