We are very happy to choose Bagan Cottage hotel to stay during our second Bagan journey. It has an amazing interior and cosy atmosphere. It is quiet, clean and more beautiful than on the pictures. The restaurant is hygienic and the vegetarian food is delicious. The entire hotel’s team is so kind, friendly and helpful, they arranged everything around e-bikes and tuk-tuk or taxi drives, plus gave us good insight tips. The location of the hotel is near to the airport so a bit further from old Bagan, therefore not the most suitable to e-bike from the hotel. But it’s only a 10-15 min drive by taxi or tuk-tuk to inner Bagan, then hiring there an e-bike to discover the close area gives the feeling or hire a car for a full day from the hotel is also a good solution to visit the further parts of Bagan. We have had the feeling like arriving home every day after adventuring and contemplating around the breathtaking temples and pagodas of beloved Bagan. A&G

Nice place with a fantastic view. Just the windows were not really clean. But it is probably difficult to wash them. Nice restaurant on the top floor. Decent breakfast.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with an amazing design and perfect, peaceful location. Great breakfast with local and international dishes. Huge and very comfortable room. Great gym. Our concierge Tim helped us organize a trip to the Golden Rock and was very helpful in everything else. The mall downstairs is great for a coffee or a quick lunch.

Inle Apex Hotel offers a wonderful stay with its incredibly kind and helpful staff who go out of their way to assist guests. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the jetty where you can catch a boat to explore the lake. Breakfast was delicious and included a special treat — tomato jam, a local specialty reflecting the unique floating tomato farms on the lake.

Great service from doorstep with porters on hand to assist with luggage, fuss-free quick and efficient check in and check out, warm greetings from everyone, immaculate housekeeping, generous and clean room, awesome well maintained and well equipped gym and just a sheltered walk to Myanmar Plaza for groceries, good and such. Room service was also obliging when I requested some food at 11pm, past their serving hour for certain dishes that require more preparation. I will be back again ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️

Three weeks before this stay, I was here for eight nights, and a mistake by the reception staff caused my deposit refund to take over a month. I complained about it, asked them to prevent it from happening again, and then stayed for three more nights. The manager who handled my case was extremely honest and straightforward. To apologise, they gave me a substantial room upgrade and Executive Lounge access. They went above and beyond, expressing their sincere apology by not even taking a deposit when I checked in and allowing me to pay the total room cost only upon check-out. I will certainly stay here again when I come back to Yangon, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for the best all-around hotel experience in the city.

Always a bit of a home-coming; gentle and helpful personnel, fantastic BF, spacey lounge for business-meetings and an inviting swimming pool, with an evening bar and BBQ. Rooms likewise spacey with all amenities present.

Excellent location, 10 minutes walk to Central complex which has restaurants, bars, hair stylist, etc. Also, not too far from Myanmar Plaza shopping mall.

I last stayed at Royal Lake Hotel in 2019. I am delighted to be back. The check-in and check-out was seamless and efficient. The front counter staff were cheerful, energetic and proactive. The hotel facilities and amenities remained very well maintained. Room was very clean and fresh. Pillows and bed were firmed and comfortable. Housekeeping was disciplined and prompt. Morning breakfast was sumptuous. The rate was attractive and certainly value-for-money. Like Chatrium in Bangkok and Niseko, Royal Lake Hotel typifies a high quality of hospitality. I am appreciative that a staff (whom I could not remember his name) helped me to exchange some kyat (1000 and 500) banknotes for personal collection. I have been searching for those two notes for years. He was willing to partake. Going the extra mile for guests is the highest form of hospitality spirit. Thank you. To me, tourism and business encourages cultural exchanges and economic benefits which can uplift the livelihood of the average Burmese families. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights out of a total of 7 days in Yangon. Yangon and certain key cities like Mandalay are safe. The hotel is definitely secure. The weaponization of tourism via travel advisories has caused upheaval to the average Burmese who has nothing to do with the ongoing conflict. I encourage tourists and business people alike to visit Yangon, and consider Royal Lake Hotel.

Hotel rooms are comfortable with all the amenities. Staff are very kind and helpful.
