A really great place to stay. Lovely rooms, a nice view to the Island landscape directly out of the bed. An Infinite Pool with a nice bar. Very friendly people and all for a very cheap price.Definitily a place to stay longer than I could.

Wow, what a great hotel! Where do I begin? - The room - spacious and clean (they clean it every day + folding your cloths...), big and bright bathroom, bottles of water renewed every day, a kettle, safe box and tvt - The unbelievable generous breakfast - great selection - you will not be able to finish it. - The location - less then one minuet from the river, where the boat takes you to Inle lake. Also 3 minuets walk to the night market - Huge beautiful public balcony with a great evening breeze - The family that runs the hotel - unbelievable people - they will take care of you in such a gentle way. They found out I love coffee - so every day they would make me a pot of a filtered coffee and bring it to my room, long after breakfast. - Reservation - they can book a boat trip to the lake, a car+ driver to take you around, and bus tickets to Bagan, Mandalay, etc. - Atmosphere - relaxed, welcoming, Wonderful. I highly recommend it. It is very cost-effective. 1. All the employees are very friendly. 2. Even though I arrived early in the morning due to transportation, it was very nice to check in as soon as an empty room came out. 3. Rooms and towels are very clean. 4. Free breakfast is also pretty good. 5. I got a lot of help from the accommodation to reserve the things I need in Bagan.

Roof top Restaurant of this hotel, good food on good price. Spacious room, clean and nice, river view, elevator, good staff, sandwiches boxes for early leaving in the morning.

I liked the hotel. The room is large, everything is clean, breakfast is normal. There are problems with electricity, like everywhere else, but the hotel has solar panels and a generator. Not very good wifi. The staff is wonderful - they organized boat and car excursions to Pindaya and helped us buy bus tickets to Bagan. After visiting this hotel, I now think that the main wealth of Myanmar is the people of this country.

I last stayed at Royal Lake Hotel in 2019. I am delighted to be back. The check-in and check-out was seamless and efficient. The front counter staff were cheerful, energetic and proactive. The hotel facilities and amenities remained very well maintained. Room was very clean and fresh. Pillows and bed were firmed and comfortable. Housekeeping was disciplined and prompt. Morning breakfast was sumptuous. The rate was attractive and certainly value-for-money. Like Chatrium in Bangkok and Niseko, Royal Lake Hotel typifies a high quality of hospitality. I am appreciative that a staff (whom I could not remember his name) helped me to exchange some kyat (1000 and 500) banknotes for personal collection. I have been searching for those two notes for years. He was willing to partake. Going the extra mile for guests is the highest form of hospitality spirit. Thank you. To me, tourism and business encourages cultural exchanges and economic benefits which can uplift the livelihood of the average Burmese families. I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights out of a total of 7 days in Yangon. Yangon and certain key cities like Mandalay are safe. The hotel is definitely secure. The weaponization of tourism via travel advisories has caused upheaval to the average Burmese who has nothing to do with the ongoing conflict. I encourage tourists and business people alike to visit Yangon, and consider Royal Lake Hotel.
