Guest reviewThe staff are absolutely wonderfull. Helpful and always with a smile. The room was huge and spacious and the bed comfortable. On my last day the lovely owner made me a hamburger before my flight back to Yangon. Breakfast was perfect and abundance and gets you through the whole day. Also it is near the jetties for the Inle lake starting point on the boats. Good shops around and restaurants. Markets close by. You must try the winery!!!! Well worth the visit. Thank you to everyone at the Sandalwood Hotel….

Guest reviewVery big, modern hotel with excellent facilities in a stunning lakeside location. Beautiful infinity pool with a bar and poolside dining. Fine dining in the penthouse and a busy lounge bar in the spacious entrance atrium. Busy with weddings and parties which were colourful and fun to watch. Exceptionally helpful staff when one of our cases was late to arrive. Flexible too, waiving the day visitor fee so that our family could join us by the pool. Magnificent breakfast buffet incorporating many different Asian cuisines as well as western standards, best I’ve ever seen. A bit of an oasis in Yangon.

Guest reviewI liked the hotel. The room is large, everything is clean, breakfast is normal. There are problems with electricity, like everywhere else, but the hotel has solar panels and a generator. Not very good wifi. The staff is wonderful - they organized boat and car excursions to Pindaya and helped us buy bus tickets to Bagan. After visiting this hotel, I now think that the main wealth of Myanmar is the people of this country.
