Our goal for this getaway was simple: to unwind and escape the everyday. We were drawn to this destination for its promise of seclusion, minimal crowds, attractive pricing, and encouraging reviews for a recently launched establishment. We weren't disappointed – it delivered on all fronts. From the outset, communication with the owner and manager via WhatsApp was seamless and helpful, including arranging our transfers. The island is wonderfully intimate; you can explore its entirety in a gentle 10-minute walk. The tranquility, with so few other visitors, was precisely the atmosphere we craved. The accommodation is new, bright, and tastefully furnished, true to the online photos. The room was well-equipped with air conditioning, a fan, a private bathroom with a shower, a mini-fridge, and a safe. We slept soundly on the comfortable double bed, and daily water was a thoughtful touch. The restaurant offers a core menu, but the kitchen team was incredibly flexible, preparing our requests, and the seafood platter was fantastic. Just make sure you arrange this in advance. One of the most memorable moments was when Nya, having heard my wife’s birthday had just passed, surprised her with a cake and candles while the entire staff sang 'Happy Birthday'. It was a genuinely heartwarming gesture that left my wife overjoyed. Every staff member we encountered was attentive, genuinely welcoming, and always smiling. The pristine beach and crystal-clear water were a daily delight. We had incredible encounters with marine life, spotting turtles, small sharks, and even a graceful stingray. Nya also offered a selection of activities at fair prices, enhancing our experience. Ultimately, this was an impeccable choice for the peaceful and rejuvenating holiday we envisioned. I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a private, picturesque, and budget-friendly escape.

We were lucky enough to stay at this wonderful hotel during our holiday in Dhigurah, and we can honestly say it was an unforgettable experience. The property is brand new, with a simple yet beautifully designed style, spotlessly clean, and up to full European standards. With only a few rooms, it guarantees peace and privacy — perfect for those seeking relaxation and quiet. But what truly makes this hotel special is the staff: attentive, friendly, always smiling, and ready to help in any situation. One example? We accidentally locked the scooter keys under the seat during a heavy rain… and within minutes, three people of the staff came to help us, without hesitation, in the pouring rain! Such kindness and dedication truly moved us. We felt pampered, welcomed, and cared for with both discretion and professionalism. If we return to Dhigurah — and we truly hope to — we will definitely choose this hotel again! It deserves much more visibility, because it’s a true gem on the island. This hotel was absolutely stunning! The interior design is incredible, with attention to every detail, creating a beautifully stylish and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were all fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The restaurant upstairs was also amazing, offering delicious food in a lovely setting with great views. The absolute highlight though was two very cuddly cats that chilled in the hotel’s lobby area! Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Amazing!!!! If I could give 15/10, I would. The staff is so kind and helpful, the rooms are very nice and clean and the diving is just spectacular. We will definitely be back.

The modern, stylish design gives it an upmarket resort feel at an affordable price. 🚤 Easy Transfers & Convenient Location ✈️ Shihab arranged a speedboat transfer for us and personally picked us up from the harbour. Dharavandhoo also has its own airport, with 25-minute flights from Malé, making travel effortless. We took the speedboat in and flew back—both organised flawlessly by Shihab. 🌊A Paradise for Marine Lovers🐢🦈 The island is near Hanifaru Bay, where majestic manta rays gather seasonally, and close to a whale shark hotspot. Shihab organized amazing excursions—snorkelling, diving and sandbank trips—with trusted local providers. 🍽️Exceptional Dining👨‍🍳 Bageechaa’s in-house restaurant serves delicious, well-presented meals thanks to their talented chef Senaka. Absolute beach front, incredible staff, beautiful room with balcony and sea views. Great snorkeling, lobster hunting, dinners by candlelight on the beach.

I would rate this place more than 10, if possible. I don't know where to start but we had a great time at Ecoboo. I rarely feel in a "family" like in Ecoboo, the staff was completely available for any request, activities were great and well organized One of the best restaurant I had outside Europe with good choice also for vegetarians Rooms are comfortable with air conditioning and primarily made of bamboo, confirming the sustainable mood of this place

This hotel is more that you could wish for your stay in Maldives. Friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms, great food, all in all, the service is the best. I totally recomend it.

First of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands. Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the horizon dhigurah so much. The owners are so helpful with everything and make intense efforts to make the paradise even more paradise. The guesthouse is quite new, clean and very cozy. We had the best breakfast ever. (They serve continental and maldivian) Definitely try the maldivian! Thanks so much to the owners, it was an unforgettable stay!

The owners of this small accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The days were filled with various little surprises. While many resorts may be lavish and expensive, Mandhoo Island offers an original experience of Maldivian life! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something authentic and unique.

Newly opened guest house, The most comfortable big bed I've ever seen. The room views are awesome and Belconi is very comfortable—very helpful stuff. We had breakfast and dinner, food was delicious. And with this Sunrise and Sunset Beach are very close.
