I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

We stayed at this small guesthouse from November 19, 2025, to November 29, 2025. It is a very cozy guesthouse with rooms in a European style. Everything was tidy and clean, towels were changed daily, and at the reception, there was a kettle, tea, coffee, Nescafé, sugar, and milk available. The breakfasts were excellent, traditional Maldivian style. The owner of the hotel is amazing—very friendly, kind, and accommodating—he fulfilled everything we wanted or needed. We even went on trips with him, which were fantastic experiences. We recommend it wholeheartedly. Next year we will definitely return! 🥰 Just like in the photos, it is exactly like that in reality!!!

This was probably the best vacation I’ve ever had! The true definition of peace and quiet, not only because of the absolutely stunning surrounding natural beauty, but mostly, because all the staff make their best to create an unforgettable experience for the guests. The cleaning service is flawless, food is delicious - most fresh and tasty fish ever - and the private beach feels like an absolute dream. The room has lovely features, the bed is really comfortable, and everything has a very nice, tradicional (but modern) decoration. Many thanks to the owner Rasheed, for always looking after me and encouraging me to make the most of my days in Rakeedhoo. Also Niyah, for being one of the best hosts ever, along with all the rest of the staff, for so kindly always paying attention to detail in order to make me the most comfortable possible. It’s also quite easy to create friendships in between guests, as this friendly environment is promoted by the hotel owner. There are also many other activities available, such as bank sand excursion, snorkeling with turtles, dolphin watching, etc. The staff kindly provides all the necessary informations to the guests.

The whole stay was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we arrived, when the owner greeted us with fresh papaya and a coconut welcome drink, to the scooter ride to the beach with turtles, perfect service throughout the week, and excellent food. The owner, his wife, and also Rony took great care of us, arranging a trip with mantas, sharks, and a visit to the sandbank for us. They were incredibly helpful and fulfilled every request we had. Truly exceptional service, and we are eager to return! The accommodation was new and clean, with a perfectly functioning air conditioning system. There was no problem changing both beach and home towels anytime. We also rented bicycles and rode scooters. The food was delicious and diverse, including fish, meat, vegetables, rice, sweet desserts, fresh fruit, and fresh juice with every meal. Breakfasts were also great, either typical Maldivian or pancakes and toast. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend it! 10/10

Amazing service, such a new hotel, the staff truly went above & beyond!! Transferring me around when I needed to get places on time, even lending me their own iPhone cord when I lost mine & their laptop when mine broke 🤣🥹🫶 such kind lovely people, and wow such a delicious breakfast too! Highly recommend, thanks for the best stay 🥰

The staff is so nice and helpful. They will pick you up, drop you off, give you all the information you need and more. Snorkeling equipment is free. We did the half day tour and it was perfect. The closest access to the beach is just 5 minutes away by walking, while the “main” bikini beach is around 15 mins away. Wifi works. The food was also good. We will definitely come back in the future :)

Absolute beach front, incredible staff, beautiful room with balcony and sea views. Great snorkeling, lobster hunting, dinners by candlelight on the beach.

An absolute gem in the Maldives. The island is amazing and still pristine, the locals are very friendly and the hotel itself is AMAZING. It gives you a feeling of staying at a friends house. They also have Fina diving centre, the first free diving school in the Maldives. Free diving with Ismail (the owner) was the best possible way to explore the island and the rich ocean life.

The owners of this small accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The days were filled with various little surprises. While many resorts may be lavish and expensive, Mandhoo Island offers an original experience of Maldivian life! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something authentic and unique.

This hotel is simply amazing, I absolutely loved it! They've really thought of everything for your comfort: there's a hair dryer, beach towels, and daily housekeeping. They constantly replenish the water supplies. The rooms are very cozy, and the bed is super comfortable! The air conditioning works perfectly. The breakfast is tasty and filling. The service is just wow! The people working at the hotel are incredibly friendly and attentive. They communicate with everyone, are always ready to help, and do everything to make sure you have a perfect vacation! It feels like in a resort)) And Dhigurah Island is absolutely breathtaking!

The room is super nice. You can tell it was designed by someone who's used to travel because everything is in its right place and well functioning. The bed is comfy, the shower is hot, ac works well and the bathroom, placed in between the bed and the entrance, will screen from the noise so you won't hear people talking in the dining area when you go to sleep. I'm a picky italian, but I can say the food is definitely the best I've had in the maldives. Everyday fresh fish was on the menu (one day even tuna carpaccio, fished that very morning on the trip to scuba dive!). The cook does know his job. Only bad note: the sweet pastry ! The dough was always severely undercooked. Just saying so he can improve ! But the rest was really good. Scuba diving was great. I had only 4 dives on my log before coming here and was unsure if I could equalize my ears properly so on the first day Jarda made sure I had a dive instructor of my own. After the first dive everything was cool and I could join the rest of the group ! Jarda's always open to pick the diving spots accordingly to the will of the group (you'd better like currents though because he always looks for them! Personally I would have enjoyed even stronger ones ! ;)) Overall the 5 days I spent at dive and sleep were the best I've had in the Maldives
