Hotels in the Maldives

I was very curious about this island and Rettehin inn Hotel, since I had read lots of reviews about different places and this hotel has many good reviews and those are mostly about emotions and happy time in Rakedhoo. And I understood why everyone wrote that they were happy in Rattehin. From the first day of arrival, I felt comfortable and part of something really didifferent. I took snorkeling and fishing in the very first day. These excursions were such a great and funny adventures, that I had decided to go next day too for fishing. The remarkable thing about fishing at night was that we had a dinner all together with all friends, staff and other tourists. Moreover, I have never tried such a freshiest fish. Other excursions were even more exciting. I took an "Adventure trip", fully trusting of what they prepares for me. And that was one of the best days in my life, for real. I saw dolphins, around 50 jumping dolphins, They prepared tasty lunch on inhabitant island and after that we did snorkeling in two different places: one was so deep area near home island(we were searching a shark and saw one reef shark), and the second place was a unique island with a reef straight near island, I could just stand in the water and watch what's going on there, all those colorful fish, baby shark, corals, beauty. And in the evening they took me to fishing as a friend. The hotel itself is great. They think about every detail, every corner, every place gas something beautiful: like under each tree some decoration or comfortable place to sit and relax. Also they pet some birds, and baby turtle, they are too cute. After they grow up, they said they will release them, because they will become stronge enough. Home beach is clean, with crystal light blue water and white sand. The beach right in the hotel itself, like 30 seconds walk from room. I will miss a lot Rakedhoo, especially people there. Ratta thank you for treating like part of the family.

Very new hotel with new facilities. Lots of spaces, shelves, and hooks in our room to store things. Room was comfortable with good AC and functional balcony. Staff was super friendly and helpful, appreciate their help with all our questions.

Very nice and quiet location. The best local island experience. The host is very friendly and provides all the information you need. Many options for day trips and activities in reasonable prices.

Everything was amazing starting from the hotel ending with the staff. Especially Janith, he was there for us every single step of the way. He went out of his way to care for us. This is probably the best resort in Fulhadhoo. My wife was pregnant and they went above and beyond to make she had what she needed. At one point I even felt overpampered lol. We had a romantic dinner on the beach and the whole staff came to make that a special event for us. We did the dolphin thing with them too. Saw the dolphins. Everything was impeccably arranged.

An absolute gem in the Maldives. The island is amazing and still pristine, the locals are very friendly and the hotel itself is AMAZING. It gives you a feeling of staying at a friends house. They also have Fina diving centre, the first free diving school in the Maldives. Free diving with Ismail (the owner) was the best possible way to explore the island and the rich ocean life.

The Island Very highly recommended for a peaceful and authentic experience on the small island of Dhidhdhoo, South Ari Atoll (pron. DeeDoo). With a population of only 213, there are all facilities one could need including a small hospital, pharmacy, grocery and souvenir shops and even a new playground. The island is also immaculately maintained with all trails through the jungle swept regularly. Hotel This is a small, newly built guesthouse which is in excellent condition and immaculately clean. The rooms have very comfortable beds with ensuite bathrooms and a porch opening directly onto the beach. A charming communal eating area even has a free soft drinks fridge which is a nice touch. The excellent chef, Haroon, prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner (all included in the price) and is most friendly and helpful. Scuba Diving Do not have any concerns about the quality and professionalism of the dive centre even though this is a remote island. The diving school has only been open for a year so all the equipment is almost brand new and of very high quality. The dive instructor, Midhoo, is possibly the best I have ever dived with and has 30 years' experience in running dive centres across the Maldives. He improved my skills considerably over just a couple of days. As this is a small location, I was the only diver and we managed to see grey and whitetip reef sharks, turtles, rays, fabulous corals and and abundance of fish. The drift dives were a particular highlight and I felt completely safe during these trips. I could not have wished for more from the boat Captain Yoosuf and special thanks to the dive assistant, Mohamed for his attention to my safety and good humour. If you want a truely peaceful escape with no crowds, beautiful deserted beaches and a top quality diving experience, this is hard to beat, and for 3 dives per day including all equipment hire, a genuine bargain.

It's a small new cozy Gest with spacious rooms. Gesthaus is located near the Beach. The soul of this Gesta is AhmedKhali, his concern is felt at every stage of stay. It helps to solve the issues related to the stay on the island - whether it is excursions, transfer or bbq from fresh fish. I definitely recommend to visit.

We had the most amazing vacation at this beautiful hotel. Hotel is small and perfect for quiet getaway, we got a room overlooking the beach and the sea. Room itself is very big, spacious and comfortable, bed is soft and comfy, bathroom is really large and spacious with enough toiletries for duration of the stay, towels are changed regularly and the room is cleaned daily! There is kettle for tea/coffee and small fridge which is very convenient! Beach is amazing, 5 steps away from hotel with enough beach chairs and beautiful view. Staff at the hotel is amazing, literally everyone is so polite, welcoming, smiling and going out of their way to make your stay memorable, from housekeeping, restaurant staff to managment. Special thanks to Poky for arranging beautiful excursions with manta rays and sea turtles. There are only few restaurants on the island and we tried food in all of them but we loved the food at the hotel restaurant the most and ate there most of the time. Pick up with the boat, flight tickets for domestic flight, everything was arranged by hotel staff. There were only 2 or 3 other couples with us in the hotel at the time so we enjoyed full privacy and had the whole beach for ourselves throughout our journey. But the most amazing part of this hotel is in-house coral reef right in front of beach! We were so mesmerized with the amount of beautiful exotic fish and sea life which can keep you occupied for hours and hours if you like snorkeling and exploring. Except thousands of different fish species we also encountered sting rays, sea turtles, sharks etc… on a daily basis. It’s more interesting than any national geographic documentary movie. So this place is absolutely perfect for relaxing holiday at exotic location, we would recommend it to anyone and would be the most happy to come back again! One week was not enough for our stay!
