I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

Room was cleaned on everyday basis. Free bicycles, masks and fins. Owner was responsive for all of our requests.

Very nice and quiet location. The best local island experience. The host is very friendly and provides all the information you need. Many options for day trips and activities in reasonable prices.

We cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Everything was perfect, lovely clean room, very spacious and well equipped. Great breakfast and appreciated tea and coffee always being available. Collected from the harbour and helped us arrange our ferry transfers from the airport, making our journey seamless. Booked 2 excursions with the hotel (manta rays and whale shark snorkelling) both included lunch, and additions we weren’t expecting! Extra reef snorkelling and stopping at another island. Special thank you to Waruna (maybe incorrectly spelt!) who was always around at meals and such a positive person. We really enjoyed chatting to him about our recent trip to Sri Lanka. Also thank you to Anoof and Adheel (again may be spelt incorrectly!) who organised and were on our excursions, really appreciated your expertise and taking care of us, especially when one of us couldn’t find the boat! It really made our trip special. Thank you to Siyam, the hotel truely is a gem and we’d recommend it to everyone.

Our stay at Hudhufas Villa was fabulous. The place was spotless and tidy, cute and cosy. The double bed apartaments on the top floor were very spacious and wonderfully decorated on our arrival, A/C and fan in the rooms, a huge terrace upstairs with a chill out corner and sunbeds. Breakfast in the mornings had a wonderful variety, a mixture of fresh fruits and vegs, omellete, toast, and a whole load of other foods. The owners are happy to prepare anything to make you feel comfortable and at home. But overall, Shifau, the owner, was the person who made our stay this good. From the beginning he was very welcoming and helped us throughout our stay. Anything we needed or asked, he was a great help and always found a solution for us. Very good and warm hearted. 100% recommended.

The rooms are just as beautiful as shown in pictures and also provide a yoga mat and a beach bag. The whole building feels really spacious, bright and open and has its own Bikini beach area right in front, where you can just hang out or go snorkeling or stand up paddling. You get daily updates about weather, tides and activities. Even if the island is really remote and luckily not touristy, you can pretty much do any activity like snorkeling trips, fishing trips, dolphin cruise etc, all carefully prepared and done by the owner Ismail himself. On top of that there were complimentary activities done by Ismail such as house reef snorkeling and short thematic walks, so you could truly get to know the island and Maldivian culture. The island itself is also just super beautiful. With only a small village, half of the island is pretty green jungle and the bikini beach area spans across a wide part of the island. You cannot walk all around the isla nd, which makes it perfect to have nice little isolated beach areas to yourself. Also the house reef of the island is amazing with so many different fish - it’s just a dream for snorkeling. If you are lucky you can even see Manta rays right from the beach or from the SUP. What really makes this place special is the people who go above and beyond so that you can have your perfect holiday - from fresh coconut right from the tree or amazing chai tea, to organizing trips that are not regularly offered. The owners of this small accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The days were filled with various little surprises. While many resorts may be lavish and expensive, Mandhoo Island offers an original experience of Maldivian life! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something authentic and unique.

Excellent value for money! Spacious room and bathroom, very comfortable king bed, shower that provides a relaxing bath. The owners, Ahu and Mapple, did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Each day, you can choose between two types of breakfast, the continental and the Maldivian. Without a doubt, a great option!

Everything was great with Dive and sleep ! Dives, food, room and the staff. The Island is very relaxing, an atmosphere far from the big touristy resort. Everything is included in the price, no HIDDEN fee ! For me it’s a no brainer. Thanks to Midhu and all the staff for the fantastic stay !
