I had an unforgettable stay at Handhuvaru Maldives. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making me feel right at home. I loved cycling through the beautiful palm forest, enjoying fishing excursions, and visiting the private island where I experienced some of the best snorkeling ever. I rate this paradise 11 out of 12 and can’t wait to return soon! ❤️

This hotel is really something special. Shiyam and his team are very friendly and helpful. He takes time for his guests and is not only a very pleasant person but also an excellent host. The entire hotel is designed with attention to detail, from the rooms to the relaxed courtyard. The name “Oasis” is 100% accurate. The rooms are very clean and new. The authentic food is always delicious and there are many different activities on offer, such as snorkeling trips, renting bikes or motorbikes. There's really nothing negative to report. I will come here again when I return to the beautiful island of Dhigurah. Thank you very much Shiyam and see you next time

We recently had a pleasure of staying at Isla Retreat and we were truly impressed by the attention to detail throughout the property. It was clear that the owners have thoughtfully considered every aspect of guest comfort. The room was equipped with everything that each guest might need – from a small refrigerator and air conditioning to high-quality toilet articles. We were also pleasantly surprised to find yoga mats and a beach bag, which showed how much they care about catering to a variety of guest needs. We cannot mention enough how comfortable the bed was! The room itself was spacious, clean and beautifully designed, offering a great balance of comfort and style. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The check-in process was smooth, and we even got a small excursion of the island. Another great feature was the cleanliness. The room was cleaned twice a day, which kept everything fresh and tidy during our stay. The food was delicious and well-prepared, though we would suggest expanding the menu a bit for more variety, especially for longer stays. That said, every meal we had was flavorful and satisfying. The Bikini Beach on the island was quiet and secluded, making it a great spot for a peaceful getaway. The calm atmosphere and beautiful views made it a perfect place to relax. A big thank you to the wonderful staff (Aku, Putu, Ismail, and all the other guys whose names we didn't catch) for making our stay so enjoyable. Your warmth and attention to detail truly made a difference, and we look forward to returning!

The owners of this small accommodation are very friendly and helpful. The days were filled with various little surprises. While many resorts may be lavish and expensive, Mandhoo Island offers an original experience of Maldivian life! Highly recommend to anyone looking for something authentic and unique.

Dive and Sleep is the perfect place for divers. Jarda and Midhoo and their team took us out on 3 different dives every day and made sure that we had a great time. There was so much underwater wildlife - it was amazing. And unlike other resorts there were no hidden fees, everything was included in the price. The local island is small and perfect for little walks, not so much for swimming during low tide. The rooms were spacious and clean and the 3 meals were fantastic.

The place is really nice! We didn't expect to be already picked up from the air port - this was the first very nice surprise 🙂 The staff is more than friendly, they do absolutely everything to make you happy. They help you in all the needs you have and we felt always so welcome! The rooms are very comfortable and really nice looking! Everything is very clean and also the area where you can eat looks so pretty 😊 the food is good and especially after diving it's nice to have lunch in the Royal inn 😊 Also when you have early morning dives, they prepare the breakfast for you even at this time. Nirmal is awesome, so friendly, funny and just the best! We can recommend this place from the bottoms of our hearts! It always felt so nice to come after a long day back to the Isle Royal inn Thank you for really everything!

One of the best parts is the ability to choose between local Maldivian dishes or European cuisine, ensuring there’s something for everyone. The island is the perfect size for exploring, with clean beaches and stunning ocean views. The view from my room was breathtaking, with the ocean stretching out right before my eyes. The highlight of my stay was taking a boat trip to a deserted island, which turned out to be the most unforgettable experience. It was peaceful, beautiful, and truly magical – a once-in-a-lifetime moment! For those who love to explore, the resort offers bicycles that you can take and ride around the island. It’s a fun and relaxing way to see every corner of this beautiful place. Everything at Bageecha Stay is designed with attention to detail. The rooms were cleaned regularly, ensuring everything stayed fresh and pristine. They even have special branded beach towels, which was a lovely touch and added to the luxurious feel of the stay. Another unique feature of the resort is the sight of planes taking off – a fascinating experience that makes for amazing photos! First of all, I highly recommend you read it until the end. An excellent facility on a small and quiet local island full of underwater riches. As soon as you put your feet into the water at the tourist beach, you are surrounded by dozens of different species of fish, but swimming with the fish seen on Youtube is a priceless experience. Mr. Ahmad, the owner of the hotel, is a very polite and helpful person. He is very professional in making all the necessary arrangements for you when you arrive from the capital to the island, in welcoming you at the entrance and when you leave the island. If you want to participate in off-island activities, they will help you as much as they can. You have breakfast as an open buffet at the best restaurant on the island. You should definitely try the product made especially from fresh tuna. Among the 4 hotels I stayed in on 4 different islands during my Maldives trip, this was definitely the newest, cleanest and cheapest. I can guarantee that you will feel at home in this hotel. I would also like to consider that restaurants, off-island activities, and many other things on the island are cheaper than on many tourist islands. Also; Mahibadhoo may not be the best island in the Maldives, but it is a fact that there are better ones in terms of nature and tourism. But if you really want to relax in a quiet environment, this quiet and tiny island located in the natural wonder South Ari Atoll is definitely one of the best local islands you can find. Never mind that the tourist beach is smaller than some, because there are only a few people on the beach at most, so the beach is yours! I definitely recommend splitting your Maldives holiday across more than one island, as I did, and devoting at least some of it to this island and this hotel.
