Almost everything. The place is beautiful, clean, and new. The staff was nice, smiling and seemed to enjoy working there. They were doing karaoke with the guests in the evening... Looks like a good atmosphere. The rooms were clean. The view from the room is amazing. It's a quiet place beside a few boats in the morning. The lunch and dinner were good, seemed homemade and fresh. The shared and open area is very nice, with a slide to the water and a net to rest above the water. A bit pricey but I really recommend it.

Hands down the Best hostel where I have been! The common area was super nice and comfortable, the kitchen was very nice and had free water/coffee/tea available for the guests. Free breakfast was soo good you had 2 options to choose from. Everything was super clean and you just feel like at home. Then to the best part THE BED ohmy it was the best bed I have been sleeping in Malaysia so far. I was in 8ppl dorm room. You get 2 fluffy pillows and a blanket and the mattress is just perfect. The beds are wide and with a curtain. And then the STAFF. Wenesa my dear hosted us a wanton night so we made them together and ate together. Just had the best time here with a bunch of lovely people. I couldn’t recommend it more. It made Ipoh special for me thank you so much for all the staff❤️

If you need a place to rest and to recharge, this is the place to be! You will not only find a second home, but also a second family! I have never stayed in a place with such lovely hosts, trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I had an accident and was really glad I stayed with Mommy and the Captain! The rooms are clean and cosy and the beds super comfortable. Everything is working fine, from the WIFI, TV, aircon, to the shower. Really pretty garden and nice pool to cool off. If possible, I would give you guys a 100! :-)

The hotel is a dream! Everything is beautifully furnished and it's really super clean! The concept with the lounge and the kitchen is a really good idea! We received a very warm and friendly welcome. We are on our honeymoon and there was a surprise waiting in our room (see photo). A visit here is really something very special. We have extended our stay by a week because we like it so much. The staff are very accommodating, kind and friendly! Chanel and Miumiu (the hotel owner's cats (also super friendly!!) who visit from time to time in their little house) must also be mentioned! We would love to take them with us :) We would really like to say a big thank you to the team, especially to Sharkir, he is always in a good mood, very hardworking, super friendly and very accommodating!

Our stay at East Indies mansion was over our expectations. We loved the interior and history of the hotel. The location is perfect to explore Georgetown. The staff and service was superb.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and every request I had during my stay was handled with a smile. The room was spacious, elegant, and spotless, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities I needed. I especially loved the attention to detail and the little touches that made the stay feel truly luxurious. The facilities are outstanding — the pool area is beautiful and relaxing, and the spa and gym are top quality. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering fresh and delicious options every morning. The location is perfect: close enough to the main attractions and restaurants, yet quiet enough to enjoy peace and relaxation. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, style, and impeccable service. I can’t wait to come back!
