Wonderful, new property. Everything in great condition, attentive staff and amazing service. Great meals everyday, and the staff were always friendly and helpful with good advice. Mohammad Alrad was an fabulous and courteous host, always assisting with our queries and helping with travel guidance. An asset to Bubblefish. Highly recommended for a stay - especially if you love snorkeling and scuba diving - some of the best reefs and dive spots in Borneo in close proximity.

It’s very clean, comfortable and feels very homely. The staff are very attentive and respond over text message quickly. This has been one of our favourite hotels so far on our travels.

Very nice service, and location

Everything! Huge room, comfy bed, huge bathroom, bathtub with a view, beautiful room decor (rose petals and cake) as a honeymoon celebration, nice breakfast, close to the park and Petronas Towers. We liked it all and the service was great. Our first time in KL and definitely not the last.

Great place to stay! Location in KK is great and the room was well equiped as well as clean.

Hotel is placed in amazing stylish old house. Atmosphere is friendly, personel is helpful and polite. It is nice to come back here after visiting this incredible city.

My stay at Else Hotel was my best one so far! It’s clean, its new, its grand. It’s calm, its relaxing and not to mention the decorations the interior was beautiful. I stayed for 4 nights in the Mantra room, and it was just nice for a single person. I had the meeting room to study and work, it was cosy, quiet and conducive. I loved it so much. I had the breakfast there everyday and it was immaculate. Ordered the mango yoghurt pudding granola thingy and I was hooked on it and repeated the same order every morning ! Else Hotel, if you could send me the recipe for that at shiuyin1030@hotmail.co, that would be amazing. I have been trying to replicate the dish at home and I just could not get it right. The chicken pokey ball dish I ordered for room service was heaven too, the chicken was made sous vide style i believe, then charred, was the best best combination to the entire dish. I really had a good time. Definitely will come back. <3

An oasis of tranquility with a wonderful tropical feel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was excellent. The breakfasts were sensational.

They did a fantastic job of restoring the Blue Mansion. The entire property is gorgeous. Our room was clean and spacious with a comfortable King bed, and well appointed period furnishings. It felt so special to be in such a historic place and the staff were friendly and helpful. They served breakfast in the courtyard with made to order offerings (the pancake with salted coconut and burnt sugar sauce was excellent). We also loved listening to the guzheng performance in the courtyard during the evening. The only regret was we managed to only book one night(it was fully booked).

Everything! We’ve stayed in fancy hotels in our travels but Liu Men is by far one of the best. Its uniqueness and the cozy atmosphere is too good to describe in a couple of sentences. Do yourself a favour and stay at Liu Men when you’re in Melacca!

The staff were amazing and so helpful and welcoming from the moment we stepped it. Everything is so personal and comfortable. The breakfast is cooked by the owner every morning. The cocktails are amazing. The rooms are incredible. Everything is so intentional in the hotel. But It really is the staff that make it though, they are all so kind and helpful and friendly. The two gorgeous cats are a bonus!
