The place is an absolute gem in Vilanculos. It was created just a few months ago, it is all new, clean and to be honest are the best lodges in the city. I travelled to many counties in Africa and it is the best by far. They also have the best Portuguese food there in the restaurant. People sometimes just come from different lodges just to eat here. The accommodation is better than it looks in the pictures. If you stay here, the stuff will make sure you will have the best experience at all the most beautiful islands. They help with travel tickets, organization and everything. You can really relax and enjoy your holidays here. It is one of the magical places I want to come back taking my friends with. Enjoy it!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at Bahia Marin Vilankulo! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm hospitality and attention to detail. The location is simply stunning – breathtaking ocean views, pristine beaches, and a peaceful atmosphere that makes it the perfect getaway. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably clean, with all the amenities I could need for a comfortable stay. The food was outstanding! Every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with plenty of delicious seafood options. The breakfast, enjoyed with a view of the ocean, was a highlight of my stay. The hotel also offers fantastic activities – from island excursions to snorkeling and sunset dhow cruises. Whether you want adventure or relaxation, this place has it all. Overall, Bahia Mar exceeded all my expectations. If you’re visiting Vilankulo, this is the place to stay. I can’t wait to return!

Felt like paradise. Everything is as advertised.

Great location, 24hrs reception. The room and the bed were clean and comfortable with dark blinds. the staff is so kind and helpful. They assisted me with everything, from food recommendations to helping me book my onward travels. They also have the best prices in town from my experience. Definitely recommended.

Room 408 is exquisite. Spacious and homely with a massive balcony overlooking the water. Breakfast selection healthy.

The Oryx Butique hotel is a true gem in Maputo. I had an excellent stay. The room was modern, spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was very polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is just in the center of Maputo. Very safe and cozy.

We stayed in the luxury tents, it had all the benefits of camping (wild sounds, ocean air) with all the comfort of a chalet (king size bed, lights, power points, wardrobe) & a private bathroom & self catering kitchen area (both open air, but private). The breakfast at the restaurant was amazing everyday, the staff were really attentive & welcoming. You have an incredible view of the ocean from the restaurant. Although a bit of a walk down and up the hill to get to the beach, I'm sure a bit strenuous to some, I enjoyed it and it made the drink at the top even more special. On Christmas day, the staff did a fantastic pork spit roast which was exceptional. I cannot speak more highly of this place & the people who work there.

A stunning colonial style hotel with beautiful views. We stayed for four nights. The staff friendly and helpful. The food in the main restaurant, was delicious! The buffet dinner we had was plentiful. Kudos to the chef. Enjoyed the bar too. Very clean room with comfortable bed & beddings. A nice big pool to just relax and read/swim. Loved our stay.

It had a great restaurant & pool. The staff also helped us book a private car, with a driver, from Maputo to Tofo. The hotel was fantastic with a nice big tv where we could watch Netflix & relax after a busy day. Very clean & the staff were so friendly. It’s right next to the President of Mozambiques house! It was in a good area & we felt very safe. They also have cameras in the hallways. Very central to everything. Highly recommended!!!
