If you are looking to spend a romantic time with your loved one and/or you are an aviation enthusiast, this is the perfect place for you. Make sure have plenty of time, or best spend 2 nights, in order to enjoy all the amenities of this one of a kind 'hotel'! Marjan is the perfect host. She even brought my breakfast in the evening (for the fridge), because I had an early start the next day for a flight out of AMS. Unfortunately I was alone on a business trip with not nearly enough time. I will definitely return, with more time and in company. Note: Traffic between Amsterdam and Teuge between 7.00 and 9.00 and between 15.00 and 18.00 is crazy so plan accordingly. You definitely need a car. There are plenty of car rentals available at AMS Airport. There is a restaurant for dinner called 'Take Off' at Teuge Airport that can also easily reached on foot.

Beautiful old mansion in a small Dutch town - felt very luxurious and comfortable too. Before we arrived, Babette sent some fantastic recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Lovely host that really made sure we enjoyed our stay. Fortuna Spinoza was one of the best places we stayed on our vacation. We had high expectations after reading other reviews and our expectations were exceeded.

We took a brief stop on our road trip in this small town. The room is not just a room. We were really surprised that the whole defense tower is our room! The interior is modern and comfortable with the castle view. As this is a defense tower, there are many windows around the room. So you can enjoy 360°c view from the room. Fantastic. Breakfast would be delivered in the morning and we had breakfast inside the room.

It was a wonderful stay in Haarlem. Annemarie and Henk do make it special, and you feel like home. The breakfast was amazing with fresh fruit and bread, and joghurt with homemade compote. We had a budget double room, so it was a bit small, but with high ceilings and very cozy and warm. We were not bothered by any noise, it was peaceful and quiet.The location is great, and Annemarie and Henk make sure you visit the best places.
