I had one of the best hotel stays of my life at Kailash. The rooms were spacious, aesthetically pleasing, impeccably clean, and exceptionally comfortable for a prolonged stay like ours (10 days on a business trip). The breakfast was delicious and diverse, as was the hotel’s restaurant — which I highly recommend you try! But what truly made this stay exceptional was the staff. The kindness and attentiveness of the team at Kailash were unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. They consistently anticipated our needs and provided whatever resources we required. For example, one morning, we were too tired to wake up and overslept through breakfast. The staff thoughtfully called to let us know they were waiting for us to come and enjoy our meal — a gesture that truly amazed me. Special thanks to Dol, the manager, who ensured everything ran smoothly. I give my stay a 10/10, and the next time I’m in Kathmandu, I will definitely stay here again!

When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and a welcome drink. We really enjoyed our stay here, it was the perfect place to unwind after 10 days trekking. The young man who checked us in was very friendly and spoke impeccable english. He helped us with every request and provided helpful information. The rest of the staff followed this example and did everything they could to facilitate our stay. They include a complimentary use of the cable car, which we used to watch the sunrise in the morning. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with a/c and beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding. Since the property is on the hill it has amazing views of the surrounding area. The food is more expensive than in Lakeside but it was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the range of curries and local dishes. They have a good spa facilities, including a pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. Which we enjoyed using between our visits to lakeside.

Loved it - it is like family. A warm welcome, very accommodating. I even saw a rhino walking in the garden. They propose a lot of options to visit the national park. I wished I stayed longer.

The food taste and staff behaviour

This is a must go if you are in Pokhara. This stay and community is the most wonderful you can find in the area. They whole community makes you feel safe, special, importent, included and make sure your stay will be amazing. A place you want to come back to and place you dont want to leave. Their beautiful project included the whole community in the most amazing way. The food was wonderful and made from their own garden. Staying at the Homestay was a natural way of understanding the culture and the nepal peoples way of life. There are no words to describe the kindness and genuinity of this community.

What a gem! The room was so comfy, and the greenery outside was just breathtaking. Great value for such a peaceful and relaxing experience.

We recently stayed at Indralok Hotel and Sky Garden near Begnas Lake, and it was an amazing experience. The hotel is in a perfect location, close to both Begnas Lake and another nearby lake. The owners offer exceptional service, and you can really feel the heart and care they put into every detail. The food at the restaurant is outstanding, and the hotel itself is new, spotlessly clean, and highly recommended for anyone visiting the area or Pokhara who wants some time outside the city. We originally planned to stay for just one night but ended up staying several more because it was so hard to leave the place and its wonderful people. Without a doubt, we'll be back as there's still so much to see and do. I highly recommend this hotel!

An absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome — the host is truly kind and always ready to help with great local tips. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The view from our room was breathtaking — waking up to the lake was just magical. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk to the lake and plenty of great restaurants nearby. I highly recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

I stayed at this accommodation a couple of nights. Pappu and his family were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and cooked fresh, organic and delicious food! Pappu is also a very special guide: he could spot multiple animals that my eye couldn't see at first, among which even a tiger!!! But also several species of deer (swamp deer 😍), otters, and paradise flycatchers were an amazing sighting and we were lucky enough even to see a rhino! I miss the wonders of Bardiya... Thank you Pappu dai for your hospitality and guidance!!

Staff is super kind and helpful, Interior, energy, and overall aura of the place felt so homey and welcoming. Honestly loved staying there and will do it again before the flight out of Nepal. Absolutely majestic place in a quiet street surrounded by locals, yet 10min walk from all the main market roads. Super happy about this stay!

Comfortable bed, great service, hot water. The staff were so friendly and courteous! They made sure our experience of Nepal is great even when it meant pointing us to their competitors. This made us feel we can trust them with any question. The location is quiet, and yet within a short walk from the heart of Thamel.
