I and my friend came from Pokhara by bus and we arrived in Kathmandu way earlier than we expected. We were lucky as there was an empty room matching with our requirements and the hotel offered early check-in for free of charge.

It is a family hostel and the owner and his family are really nice and are helping you with everything. They organized my whole safari trip, brought me to the next bus and directly solved a little problem on my room. They make your stay extra special. Also the food is really tasteful. The rooms are nice: with musquito net and hot shower. 100÷ recommended.

The village us in a beautiful spot with great views of Pokhara valley and the Annpura range to the front and lush jungle and rice terraces to the side and rear.The family embraced me from the second I said hello. Every one of them could not be more kind. The food was exceptional and plentiful. Ginger honey tea was offered regularly and was delicious. Guests ate taken on jungle walks, walks to swim in the waterfall etc One night we were treated to traditional song and dance with the local women ..( and raised some funds for a villager in need of dialysis)Throughout the village we were greeted with wide smiles , gentleness and curiosity. At our house there were buffalo and goats...including two kids who provided much entertainment bounding around!The family taught us how to cook, how they made ghee, how to separate rice from their husks etc with much hilarity.. I even took the opportunity to have a sound bath delivered higher in the village in a secluded cave...so relaxing. DInner where we all gathered in the small kitchen to share our food, chat with the family and get to know people from many different countries. Israel Singapore Hong Kong and UK in our case ..we had some great laughs too! I loved the views from the balcony watching the birds flying across the snow capped peaks. Peace personified. A beautiful place! The garden is lovely and the rooms look great. We were in the jungle with the owner, Papu, for many days. He is a very skilled guide with excellent English, who doesn't only have a lot of knowledge of the animals and plants, but also cares about safety and the wellbeing of the animals we observed. We were very lucky to even see two tigers on different days with him. I really appreciated his knowledge of birds too. Very happy to have had you as our guide Papu!

Another great thing, the boss is called Surendra.. He is the best tour guide, you tell him what you’re interested in doing and takes care of everything, caters it to you, gives you a complete itinerary, including of transfers and meals and great rates on other accommodation in other cities… completely reasonable price for package deals, no sense that he is trying to make fast money, he wants you to enjoy your time so you keep coming back because you’ll love his plans. Linked us up with the best knowledgeable tour guide in Pokhara called Bharat Adhikari. This bloke has decades of knowledge on all hikes, wildlife, plants, history and everything Nepal, such a great guy and really takes care of you. Thanks to everyone.
