Very nice camp out in the desert. With the explanation of the owner it is very easy to find, the drive with a 4wd car was no problem. the camp itself is small and that makes it super awesome. we liked to stay in a smaller camp. Dinner was very very good, we asked for one vegetarian option and it was super delicious. we had a long talk under the stairs with the manager of the camp and this was amazing. absolutely recommend the camp.

I had the pleasure of staying at Koofan Heritage Hotel during my recent trip to Salalah, and I can confidently say it was one of the highlights of my journey. From the moment I stepped in, I felt immersed in the warmth of Omani culture and heritage. The atmosphere of the hotel is deeply authentic, and it offers a unique sense of peace and comfort that is hard to describe but impossible to forget. The quality of sleep was exceptional , the room was calm, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the natural surroundings made it feel like I was in a serene oasis away from the modern world. The subtle fragrance of natural materials like clay, Luban, wood, and stone gave the space a grounding and peaceful aroma that made me feel instantly at home. It’s rare to find a place where the building itself tells a story, and at Koofan, every wall, texture, and scent speaks of tradition and harmony with nature. A special thanks goes to Mr. Chouaib, whose hospitality, professionalism, and genuine kindness made my stay even more memorable. The entire staff was attentive and welcoming, but Mr. Chouaib truly stood out for his story telling with a personal touch and dedication. Without a doubt, I will reconsider Koofan Heritage Hotel for my next trip to Salalah. If you’re sick from star hotels experiences like myself! Go for it and thank me later!

Anyone who knows me, knows that I never give 10/10 overall for all services. This was the FIRST TIME I have to give a perfect score to any hotel anywhere in the world. From the moment we arrived, we were pampered and treated as VVIPs. welcome drinks and valet parking. Our room had been decorated to accommodate our anniversary. The guest relations lady, Ahlam, went on my instagram, downloaded, printed and cut out photos, and arranged them with flowers on our bed. We were upgraded for free to a suite, we had complimentary cakes and fruit. We had complimentary drinks and snacks by the huge empty pool. Our dinner and breakfast were exceptional. Hell, Everything was exceptional, but the staff just made it magic.

Exceptional property. Staff is “Mashalha”. Very very cooperative and caring. Specially I want to thanks to Mr. Sanjay who is Manager here. He is so humble and kind towards each other and every guest that you can’t imagine. He is always there for any time to solve your problems personally. Thanks lot for this memorable experience.

New hotel located in a quiet place, nicely decorated. The room and the entire hotel are clean. I stayed 1 night in October with my wife and my 3-year-old daughter. Staff is very nice and polite, especially the woman in charge of the restaurant during our breakfast. Even though I am demanding regarding breakfast, I have to admit that this breakfast was a real pleasure...everything was fresh (juice, coffee, fruits...) and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel

This is an excellent hotel for a family who would like an active vacation. The hotel offers an excellent gym, sauna, two tennis courts, table tennis and two pools next to a private beach. All for free. The rooms have what you need, pay a bit extra and get a balcony looking at the sea. The free shuttle bus takes you to the market or to the shopping mall of Oman. It stays there for 1.5 hours, which is not sufficient time to go through the mall, so we would recommend to take a taxi back when you are done. With regards to food - breakfast excellent - a buffet where you will find more than you need. We skipped the buffet dinner and instead had Italian or Iranian food in the other restaurants. If you are not too hungry - go to the pub that also serves nice - more simple dishes. Lastly, but very important - super friendly nice people works there.

We had a wonderful stay! Big and comfortable room, comfy bed, good food, both dinner and breakfast, super friendly staff, great view from balcony. We definitely recommend staying here!
