We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. When you arrive at the Sofitel Legend you have the feeling to enter a different century. The elegant colonial style of the hotel , the styling of the staff, the atmosphere on the wonderful terrace. The rooms are just simply amazing, as I work from there I could enjoy the spacious desk and also have my meetings there. The view, the sunrise, I am an early bird, amazing. As the place just opened, you will always see the GM David, walking around, checking if all is fine. The breakfast is very special, if you order a special breakfast you should really be hungry. But really worth it. Well done!

Beautiful hotel in a prime position. Dave, the owner, could not do enough to make our stay a good one and his staff followed his lead. Nothing was ever too much trouble and the hospitality was second to none. Really conveniently situated and in a central position. There is an infinity pool overlooking the beach and you can hear the waves on the beach at night in bed. Paradise.
