Great place to experience unexplored part of Panama with two wonderful hosts, who are extremely knowledgeable of Panama’s beautiful nature! Great chance to see turtles laying eggs, hatching of the eggs and experiencing the new born turtles to go into the sea. And on top of it, our host Cees was a great guide taking us around! And Loes who was a great host and guide! Thank you sincerely!

Everything! This is heaven on earth. So well built and maintained. Spectacular lay out, landscaping and views. Super friendly staff, excellent kitchen and wonderful rooms!

Beautiful location, good food, friendly staff and really nice art

When you arrive at the Sofitel Legend you have the feeling to enter a different century. The elegant colonial style of the hotel , the styling of the staff, the atmosphere on the wonderful terrace. The rooms are just simply amazing, as I work from there I could enjoy the spacious desk and also have my meetings there. The view, the sunrise, I am an early bird, amazing. As the place just opened, you will always see the GM David, walking around, checking if all is fine. The breakfast is very special, if you order a special breakfast you should really be hungry. But really worth it. Well done!

It’s a unique location with an equality unique story to tell. Staff went above and beyond and this was all flawless.

The entire stay, from the staff to the food, to the establishment, to the closeness to the several beaches in the area were what I can only describe as exquisite. The hotel architecture was well thought out, and filled with artisan details. The floors were so clean and shiny, they were like mirrors. The pool area was relaxing and refreshing even just sitting by the pool was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, with lots of different choices, from burgers or chicken fingers and fries, to chow fun, garlic shrimp, etc. The food was fantastic, among the best I've tried so far in my trip thru Panama, as well as large portions. The breakfast was delicious, and it's included in the hotel stay, with traditional Panamanian breakfast and fresh fruits, coffee, juice, and tea. The staff was incredibly professional, yet so welcoming that makes one feel not just cared for but cared about. I would give this hotel 5 stars, I wish we would have stayed longer but we must continue our trip thru the country, however I'm sure we will be back.

Stunning views from the private deck with hot tu and fire pit. Heavenly bed, cozy linens and comfy pillows made for great sleeps. The owner and team quickly responded to requests and delivered a delicious breakfast every morning before the requested time. Ended with a tour of the working coffee farm and hospitality history. Wish we stayed longer 🥰
