We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villas at Gone Fishing Resort in Boca Chica! From the moment we arrived, Brad, the owner, made us feel welcome and taken care of. He is such a great host – super friendly, helpful, and always around if you need anything. The resort itself is a little paradise - feels like a hidden gem. The pool is fantastic for cooling off and relaxing, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the whole property is surrounded by beautiful nature, which makes it easy to completely unwind. Breakfast was always delicious, especially the fresh fruits that were served every morning. We also went on the whale watching tour, which was a great experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. All in all, we had an unforgettable time at this place. Best hotel in Taboga. Regardless absence of breakfast (food is different topic on Taboga) the place is just marvelous: friendly, clean, great spot by the pull to meet sunrise and dawn. The owner is always around, provides useful tips. And they make best pinacolada ever!!

The entire stay, from the staff to the food, to the establishment, to the closeness to the several beaches in the area were what I can only describe as exquisite. The hotel architecture was well thought out, and filled with artisan details. The floors were so clean and shiny, they were like mirrors. The pool area was relaxing and refreshing even just sitting by the pool was an amazing experience. The food was excellent, with lots of different choices, from burgers or chicken fingers and fries, to chow fun, garlic shrimp, etc. The food was fantastic, among the best I've tried so far in my trip thru Panama, as well as large portions. The breakfast was delicious, and it's included in the hotel stay, with traditional Panamanian breakfast and fresh fruits, coffee, juice, and tea. The staff was incredibly professional, yet so welcoming that makes one feel not just cared for but cared about. I would give this hotel 5 stars, I wish we would have stayed longer but we must continue our trip thru the country, however I'm sure we will be back.

Loved the environment, beautiful garden, serene pool, cute bar area, big and peaceful rooms, plenty of extra facilities like a bbq area and good access to local restaurants. Super friendly owners, very helpful and above all a delicious breakfast!
