Guest reviewWe had an incredible stay at Antigua Casona San Blas. We stayed for 4 nights and I ended up extending for a further night. The property is in a great location within walking distance of all the main sights and amazing restaurants in Cusco. The property is cozy and beautiful. They have truly thought of everything, hot water bottles to warm your bed every night, night time tea to help you sleep, safe drinking water by the bed, by the kettle and in the bathroom as well as at the exit to collect on your way out for the day. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms spacious and clean. Every corner of the property is well thought out and decorated beautifully and there is a welcoming outdoor foyer to meet and gather with friends, read and relax and at night time gather around the fire pits. The staff were so friendly and helpful and always attentive to our needs. I became very unwell during my stay and the staff helped arrange a doctor to come out and see me and make sure I was always comfortable. The hotel restaurant was also fantastic, the Lomo Saltado was one of the best I had during my time in Peru and the buffet breakfast was delicious.

Guest reviewThis was an unforgettable experience. Joel and Luz we’re the best hosts. The view from the room is incredible. The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable: warm blankets, heater, tea. They cooked us dinner and it was delicious. The breakfast is included and was a complete and delicious breakfast. The shower had heated water. You have to book this lodge!!!

Guest reviewGreat view, independent lodge surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees, only thing you can hear are the birds chirping and water running somewhere far away. So peaceful and relaxing. Delicious homemade meals using local ingredients. Very caring and helpful staffs. There was a road construction and some hours were inaccessible by car but it wasn’t troublesome, was easy to adapt our schedule to visit archeological sites. Highly recommended!

Guest reviewI waited for my boyfriend to do the Choquequirao, and stayed 5 nights/days. A well needed retreat of calm and tranquility. The hotel is well located, a bit apart from the village, comfortable rooms and a nice terrasse to chill. Elisabeth is really nice, helpful with information, tips and logistic, she really made me feel at home. She grows vegetables next door that she can cook for dinner at a good price. Thank you Eli for everything and for making this stay memorable 🤗 If I could put 6 stars I would ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Guest reviewOur five-day and five-night experience at Monasterio, A Belmond Hotel, Cusco was undoubtedly the most beautiful and unique part of our two-week trip to Peru! The hotel environment is elegant and beautiful, with a rich and diverse breakfast that is exquisitely delicious. I couldn't resist having a large bowl of beef broth every morning! The thoughtfully provided room oxygen and 24-hour self-service hot tea helped us quickly overcome altitude sickness and fully enjoy our trip. Additionally, the most impressive and grateful part was the hotel's sincere, thoughtful, and enthusiastic high-quality service. When we reported the noise from nearby staff working at night, the hotel manager Giuliana Garzon and front desk supervisor Miguel Leiva immediately addressed the issue. They kindly upgraded us to a deluxe suite for free to compensate for our minor inconvenience. Sunlight streamed into the room through the lush courtyard, warmly spreading over the soft and comfortable bed... Everything was so peaceful and beautiful, like a scene from a movie. The perfect rest and relaxation completely erased our travel fatigue. Tasting the delicious desserts and fragrant Inca tea sent by the hotel, I wished time could stop at that moment! During those days, manager Giuliana Garzon and front desk supervisor Miguel Leiva constantly cared for our needs, providing us with many unexpected, attentive arrangements. We spent an extremely enjoyable and unforgettable few days. They also noticed my husband's birthday and arranged a delightful Italian opera dinner for us on his special day! Everyone wished him a happy birthday, and when we returned to our room, there was a birthday cake with lit candles waiting for us! We felt so happy and cherished by the thoughtful attention! Believe me, the hotel is not just a resting place during your trip; its architecture, courtyard, facilities, and excellent service deserve to be seen as a must-visit, unique, and stunning attraction in Cusco!

Guest reviewAfter 4 weeks travelling around Peru we came to El Samay and it was just perfect. From the warm welcome from Marianne when we arrived to the moment we left it was the best way to spend 4 nights of peace and quiet in the most beautiful setting. The staff were all fantastic, Veronica was on the end of whatsap should we need any help with absolutely anything and we were very sad to leave this morning. The area is super peaceful - perfect to unwind, swim in the sea and the beautifully clean pool and to just sit on our balcony watching humpback whales ( I saw 7 in three days - keep your eyes peeled ) was magical. The food was great , being brought a 7.30am coffee each morning was such a treat and I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for a wonderful few days.

Guest reviewThe Lodge is highly recommendable. The area is super safe and close to the center of Urubamba. The Family Bungalows are very spacious and super clean. We saw that the team cleaned everything (including curtains and windows) after each departure. They cleaned it also from the „former“ energy. Breakfast was served direkt to your bungalow at the time you want - just tell them per WhatsApp or personally. The service is outstanding. Luis and Anna helped us more than we ever expected. I had a medical issue because of the altitude and Luis drove us to the medical center - stayed and translated for us! Just amazing! Anna and Luis are the souls and the owners of the Kutimuy Lodge - Thank you for all you did - from our hearts! Go there - enjoy the Lodge and never ask if the price is to high! It is not! This review is written by an „old“ hotelier from Switzerland. I work since 25 Years in that business and I know what I am talking about! All the best wishes for the future from Mr. Frank and Ulrike
