This property is amazing! Such a beautiful and peaceful area, the accommodation was very comfortable, clean, and luxurious. Breakfast was made to order by an onsite cook. Bathroom was nice and clean, soap is provided. Location is great - right beside the trail leading to the Gocta waterfall. All in all I highly recommend.

I waited for my boyfriend to do the Choquequirao, and stayed 5 nights/days. A well needed retreat of calm and tranquility. The hotel is well located, a bit apart from the village, comfortable rooms and a nice terrasse to chill. Elisabeth is really nice, helpful with information, tips and logistic, she really made me feel at home. She grows vegetables next door that she can cook for dinner at a good price. Absolutely beautiful place, an oasis of peace and calm after the hectic city of Iquitos. It felt like a secret jungle hideout, tucked away down a tributary of the Amazon. The hosts were adorable and treated me like family, cooking delicious meals for me, even taking good care of me when I was a bit poorly with a head-cold. I don’t speak a word of Spanish, yet we managed to communicate just fine and even had some interesting conversations! Thanks also to Enrique, my jungle guide, who took me on a fascinating kayak tour. This time of year the whole area is flooded, so it almost feels like staying on a boat! But there were also kayaks available if I wanted to get out and explore. Although for me I was quite content to relax, meditate and soak up the good vibes. Thank you Liseth and Wiler - I will certainly be back if I ever return to the area.

A lovely homestay in the heart of Cuispes. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here as well. Hot shower, comfy bed and wifi. They helped us get to the waterfalls as well. It's more remote than most towns, so you need to try and plan ahead a bit, like what time you want to eat, what time you want to go somewhere etc. 10 soles per person in a mototaxi to get from Pedro Ruiz and 10 soles per person to get to the start of the waterfalls (don't walk, it's 5km, uphill on a dirt road).
