Tena korua Marie raua ko Ronnie Everything Marie is exceptional she keeps the place running smoothly and clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the cooked meals are huge enough for two meals. Swimming and location beautiful, accomodation spectacular views and Marie so insightful placed me at end bungalow. Ronnie organized the tours who picked me up at pontoon literally around the corner. The most memorable was taputapuatea Marae highlight and Faaroa river ride Havana tours uplifting nga taonga tuku iho o nga tupuna. Also Ta'aha tour Vanilla, Pearl and Rum farm and bonus snorkeling coral reef mama also whipped up a kete and potae for us to take home from coconut leaves. This is an outstanding hotel with beautiful food and lovely staff. It has one of the best fine dining restaurants I have been to - a much higher standard than most hotels. Loved the overwater bungalow and the feeling of space and quiet. Gorgeous, expensive and wonderful.

Excellent location. Loved the lodge and communal facilities. Great to have free access to kayaks and bikes. Loved having the icemaker and access to unlimited ice.

Everything was fine for my short stay.

We loved everything about this hotel - the accommodation which was spacious and beautifully decorated in light modern decor. We had a big bedroom and a lounge area with kitchenette too. There were USB sockets each side of the bed which was very helpful. We had a big terrace with a good quality table and four chairs and two sunbeds. Our view was to the pool and the ocean beyond looking through palm trees. It was perfect and everything we hoped for. The staff could not have been more helpful and all spoke great English. They helped us with travel tips and to book our evening at the Tiki Village for which we were so very grateful. The restaurant area is very nice and we enjoyed cocktails looking onto the beach at sunset and a lovely meal afterwards. There was plenty of parking for our rental car. There's a great supermarket called Super U just 2/3km away with stalls next to it selling local fruit and vegetables, The beach area was perfect - wooden double bedframes with shade over the top, comfortable mattresses and pillows as well as lots of beanbags and side tables. We were never stuck for a place to sit and a waiter came round at 5pm one night to tell us it was Happy Hour and serve cocktails. We went snorkelling off the beach every day and saw amazing fish as well as swimming with a turtle and having five foot shark casually swim past us. It was amazing.

On one of Moorea's most beautiful beaches, in a wonderful park, extremely cozy bungalows with good snorkeling facilities!

My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)

Beautifully decorated and comfortable surroundings. The attention to detail was incredible making you feel that you truly were in paradise. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
