Tena korua Marie raua ko Ronnie Everything Marie is exceptional she keeps the place running smoothly and clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the cooked meals are huge enough for two meals. Swimming and location beautiful, accomodation spectacular views and Marie so insightful placed me at end bungalow. Ronnie organized the tours who picked me up at pontoon literally around the corner. The most memorable was taputapuatea Marae highlight and Faaroa river ride Havana tours uplifting nga taonga tuku iho o nga tupuna. Also Ta'aha tour Vanilla, Pearl and Rum farm and bonus snorkeling coral reef mama also whipped up a kete and potae for us to take home from coconut leaves. The resort is brand new, beautifully designed, and the rooms are perfectly decorated in a relaxed boho style with great attention to detail. The grounds are spacious and easy to explore on foot or by bike, and we appreciated the privacy throughout our visit. The service was consistently excellent, and we would like to thank the following team members for their friendliness and professionalism: Teamo, John, Alan, Reyhou, Vi, Erica, and Kihou. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary late checkout until 5:30 pm — a gesture we greatly appreciated. My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)
