Hotels in French Polynesia

We were at several resorts and this location sits on probably the best spot opposite the mountain. It’s modern, smart designed, with clean and light bungalows, ours with plungepool. The staff, both young French and Tahitian were enthousiastic, interested and competent. The layout of the resort is efficient and makes best use of the view. Some of the cocktails of their own design were delicious and the food allowed for both fine dining or a cheeseburger. Frankly, it was like one imagines paradise could be. It’s a long way from Amsterdam or Paris, but worth the miles. The weather this November was very sunny.

Great hotel, modern bungalow with A/C with a great beach. The hotel lobby is very nice and inviting to spend some time with a view of the lagoon. Very good breakfast

Tena korua Marie raua ko Ronnie Everything Marie is exceptional she keeps the place running smoothly and clean and tidy. Staff are so friendly and helpful, the cooked meals are huge enough for two meals. Swimming and location beautiful, accomodation spectacular views and Marie so insightful placed me at end bungalow. Ronnie organized the tours who picked me up at pontoon literally around the corner. The most memorable was taputapuatea Marae highlight and Faaroa river ride Havana tours uplifting nga taonga tuku iho o nga tupuna. Also Ta'aha tour Vanilla, Pearl and Rum farm and bonus snorkeling coral reef mama also whipped up a kete and potae for us to take home from coconut leaves. Gorgeous bungalows on private beach. Shared kitchen with fridges for each bungalow, can be great to make meals by the ocean. Stunning stay

The whole experience was lovely, everyone was so kind! The breakfast was cute, the walk to the beach is just a few minutes up the road. The most beautiful restaurant on the beach with affordable delicious food. I loved staying here and would 100% stay again.

On one of Moorea's most beautiful beaches, in a wonderful park, extremely cozy bungalows with good snorkeling facilities!

Amazing views, very tasteful decor and grounds, gorgeous setting. Hotel has a boutique feel to it. Nice, quiet ambience - very calming. Would definitely stay again.

My stay at Maitai Lapita was an absolute highlight of my French Polynesia trip. The hotel and bungalows are beautiful and have a very authentic feeling to them. The little beach and restaurant have the best views of sunset over Raiatea and breakfast was great. What made is most amazing was the extremely hospitable staff, especially Vaea, who was extremely helpful and organized very special activities for me. Her kindness and warmth will stay in my memory and I would love to come back one day :)

This is a very small (5 bungalows as far I know) hotel and ours was just beautiful. The entire place is very tastefully decorated (mixture of local and European styles) and just the thing of you adore beautiful surroundings. There is a large deck right over the lagoon with more than enough sunbeds, tables for all the guests (no fighting over the best sunbeds necessary). The shallow reef is wonderful for snorkelling, with corals and fish right there. In the evening, sharks and stingrays swim by. There are also kayaks and snorkelling gear for rent - a popular stingray spot is not far away. The location is beautiful and the deck means boat excursions can drop you off or pick you up right there. There is one well-stocked general store nearby and nice restaurants doing delivery. Staff was amazing, too! And the wifi was about the fastest in all the islands.

The view from the room is fantastic, nice personnel. For the first 2 nights we were upgraded to the deluxe room. You better need a car if you would like to explore surroundings. Good location, not far from the beach and supermarket
