Absolutely loved it! Had booked a fab exclusive room. Just happened to stop at Guimaraes, what a town, loved it n decided to stay the night n booked this place on same afternoon n never regretted it. Only by later in evening came to realise where we’ve landed. The renowned Portugese famous tennis player owner Joao Sousa, was in house n came to stay hello, as a tennis fan our 10 mins chat with him made my day! Staff were so attentive n hospitable, like to mention their names Tania n Soraia, thank you so much for your hospitality n kindness. We had a fab time getting to know you both n the property, Abrigada, so much added to our Portugal travels n experiences! ❤️❤️

The best hotel experience ever!! We had to check out at 5am and the team had prepared breakfast for us to-go(breakfast starts at 8) and we can’t thank them enough because we didn’t have time to prepare anything ourselves. The staff was super helpful and the room itself was nice and clean, quiet even though it’s next to a busy street. Would stay again whenever we’re in Porto. Can’t recommend enough.

Excellent! A wonderful hotel right on the banks of the Douro River. The suits are comfortable and well equipped. We were looked after by the very friendly staff - Carla, Tamiä, Silvia and the kitchen staff. Always a smile and very helpful. The hotel has been designed in a very tastefully manner and with greatest love for detail. Just beautiful! The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of freshly prepared foods and is very beautifully decorated. The picnic basket is a must! A wonderful place to unwind, relax and enjoy. beautiful property near the airport, the rooms in the new wing have a splendid view on the bay. well furnished (maybe I could have needed some shoe cleaning gear). the staff is excellent (where in the world are you taken after registration to your room? and the luggage already there...) very convenient breakfast, shuttle at any time to the airport. i could check in earlier and was offered the last day to use the room free until 5pm-this is however only possible if there are free rooms. good experience of portuguese hospitality.

Everything. One of the best hotels that we’ve ever experienced. Level of service, staff attitude, cleanliness, relaxation zone - you name it. Restaurant is a bit pricey but well worth the price.

I liked everything about the hotel. Staff is super nice and friendly. Everything in hotel is perfectly detailed. Bes is big and really comfortable, rooms are big enough and clean. For ladies, cosmetics are Typology and you get a hair straightner. Location is close to centre. Drinks are refilled daily and minibar is complimentary. Futuristic TV as mirror with TV inside. Design of hotel is amazing, and most of the stuff produced in Portugal which I really appreciate. Also you get fresh fruits and snacks in lobby. 15/10 would reccomend
