Hotels in Portugal

The hotel is brand new as I found out yesterday. The size of the room is very nice. Very beautiful and artistic design. Very kind stuff that meet your needs over and beyond the expectations. I was one night last week and turned around my plans to come back again and stay 2 more nights before flying back home. As a previous 5 star hotelier I can tell a lot about the quality.

I liked everything pretty much, that was Wow ! An excellent stay, every detail was perfect.

Everything was fabulous. Beautiful staff. A great place to unwind or take a break from Camino.

This was our favourite place we stayed in 3 weeks of travelling over Portugal. Run by a very friendly family who pay a lot of attention to details. Very good homemade breakfast, with some things made fresh when you go to the room. The building is really nicely rennovated with a nice central area with a log burner. Well located close to Guarda and to do Passadiços do Mondego for which the accomodation has a lot of helpful information for things to do in the surrounding area.

Absolutely loved it! Had booked a fab exclusive room. Just happened to stop at Guimaraes, what a town, loved it n decided to stay the night n booked this place on same afternoon n never regretted it. Only by later in evening came to realise where we’ve landed. The renowned Portugese famous tennis player owner Joao Sousa, was in house n came to stay hello, as a tennis fan our 10 mins chat with him made my day! Staff were so attentive n hospitable, like to mention their names Tania n Soraia, thank you so much for your hospitality n kindness. We had a fab time getting to know you both n the property, Abrigada, so much added to our Portugal travels n experiences! ❤️❤️

When I made my advance reservation months ago, I was a bit skeptical because the hotel was brand new with only one online review. However, the photos were beautiful and the location seemed amazing, so I went through with the reservation. And upon checking in, I was not disappointed. The hotel and room were very clean. Our room was loft-style with a view of the Douro River, which was located just around the corner from the hotel. The breakfast was also amazing with a variety of bread, pastries, fresh fruits, etc. Location was also amazing. It's located in an alleyway in front of the Douro River and around the corner from the Church of St. Francis. Overall, my family had an amazing stay and will definitely come back during our next visit.

Excellent staff, great food and the only hotel I have ever stayed in that offers everything in the room refrigerator for free. Has a Suana and steam room in lower floor.

Fabulous location. Lovely suite looking out to the orchard. Enjoyed the port tasting, river cruise and the meals. Staff all very helpful. It was a lovely 2 nights of luxury and a great place to rest.

Everything was just perfect, this hotel takes care of every detail to make your stay unforgettable. The staff is so friendly, the rooms are spacious, clean and so quiet. The food is delicious and varied (with child menu). Finally, the natural swimming pool is breathtaking, the best I have ever been so far. We are so happy to hace found such a nice place, we will repeat for sure.

Everything, there’s nothing to dislike! It was a perfect getaway and an oasis away from the chaos of life. From the staff to the amenities - it was really perfect
