The view on Lake Kivu is amazing and the food delicious (the best we had so far in Rwanda!). The eco and community aspects of this project are a strong plus. Lots of activities to do. Once the swimming pool will be ready, this will truly be a little paradise. Getting there by boat from Gisenyi or Kibuye is the best way to get there.

The resort is very close to the headquarter of Volcanoes National Park, just a 20 minutes drive, so we get to prepare our activities in the Park with ease. The kitchen of the hotel is pretty nice too, as a vegan, they provide me a lot of options.

Wonderful location of extraordinary property managed by very keen and helpful personnel. Great service, tasty food, many birds around. We were granted better, deluxe house (we appreciate so much). One advice: remember not to drive to lodge location as I did in the middle of the night, due to very poor road condition, leave your car on the opposite shore, secured parking belongs to hotel, they also provide free ferry to the place you will stay. I highly recommend the lodge as a perfect place for rest among nature, far from any noise.
