A beautiful island with untouched nature on land and in the sea. The accommodation is exceptional, also the position of the house right on the ocean. Very friendly staff, excellent food, everything is outstanding.

Me and my partner we celebrate our 25th anniversary this year and trip to Seychelles was our little treat. From start, there was very prompt and friendly communication with the hotel, but the good stuff starts on our arrival. We were greeted with a bottle of bubbles and cake to mark our celebrations. Mercia has done everything she could to address all my requests, including the accommodation in one of the nicest chalets. She's such a warm, friendly and engaging person. The chalets are absolutely amazing. All with fantastic views of the coast, well equipped with all you would need (including coffee machine and free coffee caps), very spacious, clean and well furnished. The swimming pool is picturesque! So beautiful with the access to the quiet beach. Restaurant is very well managed with fresh food and amazing list of cocktails. Some people here complaint about prices. Well, if you eat out in any good restaurant on the islands you will quickly realise that the prices are pretty much the same and the food quality is spot on! We had absolutely amazing time at Canara and my only wish was for it to last longer! I'd like thank all the hard working staff that keeps the place running (special thanks to Bernadette).

Hotel is located very close to ferry (~700 m which is walking distance). They sent a car to meet us which was very helpful. Also, they helped to deliver luggage back to ferry. Beach near hotel is not the best, but there is a very nice “Anse Source d'Argent” beach rather close (2 km). You need to pay for the entrance around 10$, cause it’s more like a park with lots of sightseeing, beaches, giant turtle zoo, etc. There is a very nice Italian restaurant at the hotel (I heard that one of Chefs is Italian – specifically for Pizza!!! – NICE!) I tried some cocktails at the bar. They have very good selection with some local specifics: e.g. La Digue Ice Tea instead of Long Island Ice Tea … 😊 PS We left the hotel early in the morning and didn’t come back, expecting luggage at the ferry. To my surprise I met a reception lady which rushed her best to return 5000 $ that I forgot in the safe … (facepalm hard) My bad, I don’t remember her name … ☹ But thanks a lot!!!

The place is very nice and clean, very well kept. It is short walk to the Beau Vallon beach and has a lot of restaurants and shops around. The absolute best of this place is it's staff. They are very resourseful when it comes to giving advice of sightseeing options on the island and very accomodating for any needs related to the hotel. After check out I realised tgst we left one of the mobile phones in the room, and the staff offered to bring it to the airport so we would not miss the flight. That was such a kind act from them and so much appreciated.

Nice place ..Luxury Furniture ..Wide Balcony..well maintained..Direct to the see view ..2min to the beach (Just cross the road to the other side..thanks for Ms.Nicole who was always making sure that her Guest are Happy and enjoying thier stay.. we will miss the place .. Yousef

The location is amazing. The staff was 5 stars, professional, kind and always there to assist. Despite the size of the hotel, you get the feeling of a family hotel. Everyone greets you with a smile and is very attentive to the guests needs. To me that is the most important part. We were so pleased that we ended up staying longer than planned. The danger is that you won't want to leave! The facilities were also superb, from the room, to the pools, the beach, the watersports, the excursions. Everything was amazing.

Amazing views on the bay and relaxing pool

Wonderfully located along the beach with almost all rooms overlooking the sea, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cote d'Or Lodge. Nice food is served, rooms are very spacious and comfortable, staff absolutely friendly and helpful ready to assist with any issue. Not only we strongly recommend it but we feel it is one of the best reasonably priced options of the whole area.

A very welcoming hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. We were very comfortable as the team helped booked exursions and and gave plenty of advice. Outstanding location. The pool with Marina view is great. Great staff they were very friendly and helpful. Amazing food. The room was simply amazing.
