The gardens with waterfalls. The room is quirky and comfortable with a huge lounge to relax on and an enormous bathroom with endless hot water ( not a wall mount heater) and a bonus large bathtub. The friendly staff were helpful supplying a hand drawn map of attractions and the breakfast was cooked fresh and comes with a fruit platter. We liked that you can make your own toast, tea and coffee.

In short: a wonderful stay! Everything was great the hosts, the rooms, the location near the airport. There’s a 7-Eleven just a 5-minute walk away, and they even offered us a ride to a nearby restaurant and back. Plus, a free ride to the airport! It’s simply perfect if you need a place to stay before catching a flight the next day.
The Rooms: Clean, comfortable, and equipped with lots of essentials for a perfect stay. It truly felt like home, even though we only stayed one night. We especially loved having a smart TV in the room!
The Hosts: A really nice, down-to-earth, and easygoing couple. Staying with them was honestly the highlight of our trip. Despite all the amazing things we experienced beaches, island hopping and private pool villas All of it just fades compared to how wonderful our experience was at Mem Homestay. ❤️
The Location: Very close to the airport. 7-Eleven is just around the corner, a 5-minute walk, and the beach is just another 5-minute walk from there. When we arrived at Chumphon from Koh Tao (via Lomprayah Pier), we asked the staff there to drop us off at Mem Homestay, and they did, just like that! The price was included since we had already booked a ride from the pier to the airport, which is near the homestay.
We truly enjoyed our stay and want to thank the hosts for their kindness, hospitality, and effort in making us feel at home. We’ll definitely come back and for longer than just one night! Thank you, Mem Homestay you guys are amazing! ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at Above the Clouds. The room was spotless, spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The views were exactly like the pictures—beautiful and peaceful.
The host was extremely kind and went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He even took us to see his mother-in-law’s house and showed us the kitchen where she prepared our dinners, which was a really cool experience. Every afternoon they brought tea and cakes, and each night we had a different homemade dinner. Both meals were excellent.
They were flexible with meal times, gave us privacy, and still responded quickly whenever we had questions. We also walked from the property into town and everyone we met was friendly.
Overall, an amazing stay that exceeded expectations. Highly recommend.
