The Residence Douz was a wonderful resort, beyond my expectations. It was amazing to be able to relax in the middle of the desert like this. Great stay at misk villa, The staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating. The breakfast is great, many choices and interesting combinations. There are parking places in front of the villa. I highly recommend this place .. Also, sidi bou said is safe for female solo travellers.

I was very impressed with the check in process. I was greeted warmly and provided a nice glass of lemonade. The restuarant was nice and the service staff was extremely professional. Here is an example: I accidently dripped some sauce on my short and the server went quickly into the kitchen and brought back a cleanser that took the stain off. There was a welcome basket of local fruit that was greatly appreciated and a thank you gift on check out (a locally made pottery dish).

We LOVED the staff. Everyone that works there is wonderful. Shout-out to the breakfast crew and Aziz, who felt like a friend by the end of the trip. The staff honestly made our visit to Tunisia that much better because they were so enjoyable to be around and always willing to help with anything. The bed was also comfortable, the location was unbeatable, and the breakfast was wonderful. They even arranged a driver to pick us up as our flight landed at 2am. It made things so much more comfortable and easy for us.
