Beautiful and well maintained with traditional decor. You can feel it has a soul and looks spotless. Every corner is worth stopping and photographing. Restaurant team on the rooftop who spoke English (boy) was very welcoming and very excited to see us - this type of warm welcome we would expect from reception team. Door on rooftop restaurant was excellent, we stayed 6 hours from lunch to dinner with our friends and enjoyed view, service and food very much. Will come back and recommend.

The Byzintine room was spotless, very friendly and professional staff. Karim and Mohammed were fantastic, went out of their way in accommodating us for iftar during ramadan when a booking was impossible.

I had a delightful stay at Neira, the location was wonderful at the heart of Sidi Bou Said. The owners and staff were very accommodating and kindly upgraded us to a room with a balcony which was impeccably clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the communal space well designed and beautifully decorated. I had a great time at the hammam, very cosy vibes and excellent massage. I highly recommend this charming place and will definitely be back !

I would definitely say this is my one and only address to stay in Tunis !

We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay. Thank you!

The property was excellent. Extremely nice staff. Very chic. Great place to work if you need. Well-located, very easy and safe to walk around the Sidi Bou Said neighbourhood. The breakfasts were excellent. The spa had all the essentials - steam room, pool, chairs, etc. and was very private. The terrace up top was absolutely wonderful with fantastic views of the city. The price was good for the quality. The AC was great. The wifi was not super fast but definitely fine for a few days. Also very easy to get a cab (use Bolt) and go to La Marsa for the beach and good restaurants. We felt very safe and welcome here. Highly recommended.

Very clean hotel. The staff was lovely especially Mr Reza, asking all time if I need something , very polite and smiling.

We lived in a real Palace. The building is very old and it was absolutely like a museum!! So beautiful! We took great pictures and felt like in a historical movie) There are just few rooms there so most probably you would have the whole Palace just for yourself)) The bed was very comfortable and we had great sleep. The Palace is in Medina, thus you need to consider this. It might be difficult to drive exactly to the house itself, it might be crowdy outside - there are tourists there, and the noise from the street is loud. However at night it’s very peaceful and quite. There was no tea pot at the room, however the staff was very helpful and supportive. We had a very rich homemade breakfast which we enjoyed a lot!! Note that if you want to have a dinner in the Palace, you should discuss it in advance. There is no restaurant inside. However just in 5 minutes distance there is a great place to have a lunch or dinner. Just check if it’s booked or not, it’s very popular.
