The staff is top-notch. Attentive, responsive, made us feel like we were staying at a luxury hotel. I've traveled a lot, so I have a lot to compare it to, and this was amazing. We forgot both our phones in the taxi when we arrived at the hotel. The receptionist immediately found a way to contact the taxi company. We had both phones back within 10 minutes. It's incredible! The hotel staff will never leave you in trouble.

Very quiet/ well situated/ with friendly staff and management

The location of this hôtel was perfect. Most sites were within walking distance. We were lucky enough to expérience it out of season (February) and our Host couldn't have been more helpful. She was unbelievably sweet, kind and helpful, giving us advice of where to go and how to get there. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

In our two-week trip in Turkey, Akanthus was a shining light. At first, we had booked a cheaper place closer to the town center but then decided to take the plunge and pay the premium for Akanthus. We were nervous when we got into Ephesus as we didn't want to be disappointed (our expectations were high) and Akanthus was like a warm hug. We had spent four days in Istanbul walking 20k steps each day and we needed a place where we could stay in and be comfortable and relax like we do back home and Akanthus gave us just that. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the room was designed with a lot of care. From the beautiful fittings in the bathroom to carefully designed side-tables to the TV having an Amazon Stick with Netflix and Amazon Prime available for the guests, it was a delight. If you go outside the room and if you're living in the same building as where they serve breakfast, then you have 24/7 access to tea, coffee and a delicious moist tea cake. The breakfast spread was lovely. The assortment of breads and jams and fruits to a decent number of options what one would want their eggs to be. The pool was cold but clean and a little dip in that cool water was most refreshing. I am grateful to Akanthus and to its hospitable staff for a great stay.

The morning and evening views from the hotel balcony are stunning. The room was pleasant, and the staff was very accommodating. Uchisar isn't really the centre. so you can't expect it to be like Goreme but Uchisar is more beautiful. Goreme is only a 10-minute taxi ride away, and you can see a lot more hot air balloons from there.

Everything was excellent. Staff is very attentive and kind. Every my request was satisfied. The chief mr. Ozcan is great, tries to pay his attention to every guest. Lovely place with its own atmosphere far away from Turunc noize. Hotel has its own beach in a bay, and not many people hang around from the town. The hotel is devided in two parts: upper and down. So villas are separated from common zone at the pool and beach. Also a view from villas is great to tge see, mountains and the town. Between villas and the beach buggy moves so there is fast connection between both parts of the hotel.

Very nice location of hotel, close to all major attractions. Hotel management and staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

We arrived at Goreme Cave Lodge by car. The parking is in front of the hotel. Safe and always available. At the reception, Anya greeted us with a huge smile. She is a smart and professional lady with excellent communication skills. From the beginning, we felt caring as she explained everything we should know about the place, including trip possibilities and prices. We immediately knew the site was a good choice to stay when they showed us the amazing cave room. It was spotless and only a few meters from the pool and the sunbeds. The beds were comfortable. The whole place was always calm and cosy and never loud. It wasn't overcrowded; it looked like a family resort full of nice people. Additionally, the pool was always clean. The next day we met Murat and Harun. Both guys are amiable and very professional. Whatever we needed, they always helped us without any hesitation. Even Bulent, the owner, was always kind and smiley. He helped me to get a repair man when my vehicle got broken. Fantastic experience! Together, they made our stay unforgettable, and I'm sure whoever steps into this place will feel the same positive energy as we did. Thank you again, for the amazing crew of Goreme Cave Lodge.
