Hotels in Trinidad and Tobago

I stayed at the Smart Hotel in Trinidad last week and had a fantastic experience. The place was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. My room had a large, soft bed, a small living area with a big TV, a bar fridge, and even a kitchen sink, perfect for light meal prep. The private bathroom was spotless, and I appreciated having a dedicated work desk to get some business done during my trip. The hotel also has a nice café area with free coffee and a relaxed seating space — a great spot to start the morning or wind down in the evening. Its location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Port of Spain, within walking distance to restaurants on the Avenue and close enough to the city for meetings and errands. Loved my stay here and will definitely be back again on my next trip to Trinidad!

The staff were so helpful when we needed assistance. The room was beautiful, spacious, well-appointed and with a stunning view. The rooftop bar was excellent, breakfast selection was varied, tasty and plentiful. All in all a superb hotel

A very colonial boutique feel to the hotel. A proper getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach was easily accessible from the hotel and relatively private. You also have access to the pool and and there are enough deck chairs. The sound of the waves crashing upon the rocks and the lovely foliage and greenery was so relaxing. The food was excellent! Staff were always ready at hand to help out and were so friendly and approachable. A special thanks to Dennison for all his help. The owners would always ask about our stay and we felt really looked after. Taxis could be arranged upon request if needed. We also asked them to arrange kitesurfing for my son; and a manicure and pedicure for my mum. Thank you Candice for this. They also had a buffet and music on Sunday evening on the terrace under thr moonlight. Absolutely loved it. My family and I would definitely revisit and are already recommending the Blue Haven to others. Thank you for making our stay special.

Friendliness and knowledgeable staff. Great tasting food cooked by Chefs. Options for food and drinks. The outdoor seating by the waterfront was amazing.

A wide selection of local and international foods to choose from. They tasted as good as it looked. Every detail of the decor and surroundings was thoughtful and chosen with the ne fs of the visitor Wonderful experience.

Breakfast was well spread out and was lavish, piping hot food was being served with the relevant dish temperature being kept in mind.

The ambience and views were amazing. The activities available were more than enough to make our stay worthwhile.

The hotel is very conveniently located in Scarborough, the facilities are impeccably clean and well appointed. The staff are very friendly and will try their best to meet your needs. There's a free shuttle to the ferry/airport and beach! The double bed rooms are spacious and have everything you need - microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine. There is also a coffee and hot water station down in the lobby. There is a spa onsite, amazing pool and view and a lovely restaurant with terrace. I had to check out super early to catch the ferry but the hotel was able to accommodate a boxed breakfast for me. It was delicious and well balanced. If you forget any amenities - there is a small shop in the lobby area with essential items, snacks, drinks and some organic skincare products. I would recommend to anyone whether business or leisure - super safe if you're traveling alone!

Everything is beautiful. It was child friendly and clean. The location was superb, the food was great, the staff seemed happy and enthusiastic about their job.

Exactly what we were looking for as nature lovers. No mosquitoes on the inside. Very quiet. It was cool despite no AC. Walking distance from the beach and river. Also saw baby leatherback sea turtles which was a highlight. Dinner was EXCELLENT and staff was accommodating to help return our camera that we forgot.
