Highly recommended :). Our stay was great! This especially thanks to the owners who were quite caring towards us and attentive to our needs. To enrich the clients experience, they also organised a free snorkeling tour around the area. The room was spacious and cozy. Very good breakfast.

There is so much to say about this lovely hotel! The staff members are incredibly kind and always available to assist whenever you need them. They decorated our room for my fiancé’s birthday surprise and even offered us a small bento cake. It was so cute! Regarding the location, the hotel is only about 35 minutes from the airport and close to Paje, but it’s a bit far from the northern part of the island. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and offer a beautiful view of the pool and the beach — especially the Mafia 1 room. The food was delicious, and the scent inside the rooms was simply divine. I was in love with it! Even our clothes came back from the laundry smelling amazing. The spa is cute, and the massage was relaxing — I truly recommend it. The ladies there really know what they’re doing!

Everything was exceptional. Great location very close to the beach, great food, relaxing atmosphere, good value for money. And to top it all a great and humble host who made sure that my stay in Nungwi is perfect. Thank you so much Max ❤️

Location of the hotel was just excellent, property was extra fresh and clean, looked even better than in the photos :) The staff was very mindful and the owner was always there to help. Highly recommend!

A special thanks to Jafari the bartender and Simon the chef who showed us the night life in Nungwi. We had a really good time at your bungalows. I hope we visit you again.

Fabulous stay, great location and everyone super nice! We took trips and the staff/owners couldn't have been nicer. The image is from our Whale Shark excursion, I love it! Such a moody day but we reached and found these beautiful, gentle sea giants. 🤍🖤🤍

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.
