This place is a hidden gem in Dodoma. When I first booked it, I didn't expect the place to be this beautiful. Upon my check-in, all the staff and the manager, Mr Audax, were all so welcoming, and the hospitality was another level. Honestly, the calmness I felt here, I wanted to extend my stay. I will definitely book again. Thank you, Teranga team, you gave me a relaxing stay in my hectic life.

First and foremost, I love the mission of the Lodge. The fact that they work towards improvement for the Maasai women in the area is amazing. Second, the people working at the Lodge are terrific. Susan, in particular, makes you feel at home with good conversations and nice home-cooked meals. Third, the facilities are perfect. Everything you need is ready at hand and you get the perfect combination of authentic experience and comfort. I stayed in the tents, which are great if you’re travelling on a budget. They are affordable and comfortable with nice mattresses, duvets and mosquito nets. You also have toilet and bathing facilities in connection with the tents. The traditional Maasai huts were unfortunately fully booked but Susan was kind enough to show me one before I left. These look absolutely amazing with cozy beds and private washroom. I’ll definitely have to try them out next time! One of the highlights of the stay was the motorcycle safari. We drove out in the bush in the afternoon and experienced the most amazing sights of giraffes, elephants and zebras. We were even lucky enough to have a giraffe visit us inside the Lodge area!

Beautiful location. Property is new and neat. The staff are very hospitable. The hotel is very close to the beach, around 3 min walk. The breakfast was very varied and tasty (for each day of a week you will have different breakfast) it also includes fruits and eggs prepared on your choice. Wi-fi connection is stable, hairdryer, fridge are available. Nice area near the pool. You can enjoy drinks on the bar.

There is absolutely nothing to fault with Lemara from the moment Leepa collected us from Kisaki train station till moment we left everything was perfect. The staff are all truly wonderful and we now consider as friends, the game drive, walking safari and visit to the local farmers market with traditional farmers bbq were some of the highlights of what was a fantastic 4 days. The accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable along with the food cooked and served by chef is amazing. Will definitely go back for a longer stay next time.

Perfect spot to relax after safari adventure. Beautiful ocean views, lovely casual all day dinning with lots of drink options. Great swimming pool for relaxing or doing laps. Also lovely curries and seafood for every meal . Perfect spot.

Very functional, well designed. Bang on the beach. Very friendly and cooperative staff. The person incharge Jackline is exceptional looking after everything. Overall a great experience.

Everything exellent, service always with smile from staff, beds are so confortable, very fast wifi, spotless clean, garden full of beatiful plants and trees, aircon working perfect, i can recommend to everybody come and stay have wonderfull experience. Also breakfast and dinner was really teasty. Another plus they arrange all kind of tour and transports really good prices for island, you dont have to go shop around, thank you guys make my stay wonderfull with beatiful memories. Bu the way they also have tanzanian music and dance show i come a cross in hotel was amazing too

The welcome that Jennifer & I got from Rama (Manager) when we arrived was most impressive & it set the tone for our 5 day 4 night stay. All the staff were good mannered, friendly & professional. They went out of their way to make sure we were always comfortable and kept informed of the menus & activities. Ricardo & Vip (owners) were on hand each day to connect & checkin with us to see if we were enjoying the experience at their wonderful lodge. It certainly is an escape hideaway treasure, right on the beautiful Swahili coast in Pangani. A peaceful paradise, a place to relax with amazing sunrise views & waking each morning to the soothing sound of the birds dawn chorus. The bandas are beautifully prepared & furnished to the highest standards. Pangani Cliff Lodge is off-grid but has its own onsite state of the art Solar powered system with provides 24hour coverage which was most welcome to power lights, wifi & particularly the fans all through the hot balmy nights. We enjoyed exploring the amazing coral rock pools at low tide on their private beach & frolicking in the swimming pool every late afternoon before sundown. The meals were beautifully presented, varied & scrumptious. We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxing massages outdoor on the cliff top listing to the sounds of the ocean.

Stunning place, 2 steps from the beach, we loved everything! Kimulimuli Ayurveda Spa retreat is not only a place, it’s an experience. Very friendly welcoming staff, big rooms, tastefully decorated, the best breakfast we had in Tanzania, very unique themed restaurant with super delicious food and absolutely amazing ayurveda spa. Definitely recommended us must see place when in Zanzibar snd Tanzania, and surely we will be back here next year.

Very pleasant stay: Beautiful location with amazing view, very good dinners and cocktails, very comfortable rooms, ... and also very good advice and support in the organization of our stay. Very quiet place and direct access to the beach. The most pleasant: We received a warm welcome, and the staff was discret and very attentive. We almost felt at home! We highly recommend this hotel.

*A Peaceful Paradise with Purpose* Palmera Zanzibar is a serene oasis just outside a charming village. I loved the peaceful garden, the spotless infinity pool, and the magical ocean views—especially at sunset. The food was creative, delicious, and all homemade (including fresh breads and cakes!). My room was beautifully decorated, with a comfy bed, sea view, and solar-powered AC—much appreciated in the heat! What makes Palmera truly special is its mission: it’s part of the More Than A Drop Hospitality College, training underprivileged girls for careers in hospitality. The staff and students were incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel safe and welcome. Highly recommended—for both the experience and the amazing cause behind it.
