Very properly named place: beautiful, quiet and not too touristy location. The owners and all the staff were super helpful and sweet and helped us organize day trips and even offered a free snorkeling trip! Also, the restaurant is excellent and the wifi works well.

This place is a hidden gem in Dodoma. When I first booked it, I didn't expect the place to be this beautiful. Upon my check-in, all the staff and the manager, Mr Audax, were all so welcoming, and the hospitality was another level. Honestly, the calmness I felt here, I wanted to extend my stay. I will definitely book again. Thank you, Teranga team, you gave me a relaxing stay in my hectic life.

Ahmed is a great host and makes you feel in Babalao really like at home. They really care, help you with everything, organize everything based on your needs. Sustainability way of doing things in the hotel especially in the country like Tanzania is something what really makes it special. Thanks Babalao for creating a great memory!

I loved absolutely everything during my stay at Lemara camp. The land that Leepa has chosen to build his eco camp is pure beauty and peace. Monkeys and dears I saw various times at sunrise and sunset. The cottages are so well equipped and designed, blending perfectly with Nature so you can enjoy and view it. Harmony is present everywhere. Hot water from solar panels working very well, only natural materials but great comfort and practicallity. Everything made with exquisite purity and refinement. But besides the place, the friendliness of Leepa and all the staff makes you feel home immediately! A home you don’t want to leave… I extended my stay because I had fun, learnt about the local culture, the surroundings, the Masai culture. Leepa is an incredible host. And Isaia a great chef who loves to serve and make you happy with his food. This place is filled with Love!!!

We had an incredible stay at infinity beach. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the owners Tomas and Maggie, who went above and beyond to ensure we felt completely at home. Their kindness and attentiveness made our stay unforgettable! The hotel itself is a work of art. Every detail was carefully designed to reflect a unique modern yet antique aesthetic. The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and offered incredible views of the beach and the semi Olympic sized pool, allowing us to wake up to the sound of the waves every morning. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was delicious and the friendly, attentive wait staff made dining a lovely experience each time. Infinity Beach is a place that captures your heart. We left feeling like we got everything we needed from this stay and with a strong desire to return. If you're looking for a luxurious, intimate getaway in Zanzibar, this is the perfect place to unwind.

This hotel combines a super friendly, chilled atmosphere with very good service. There are only 5 rooms so it feels like everyone knows each other and that the service is personalized. The rooms have great views and are literally 5-10 seconds from the beach. In the late afternoons the locals play football on the beach in a jovial mood so you get some of the local character while chilling in your own space. The locals also seemed to really respect the boundaries of this hotel and there was very little hassle on the beach. This is one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. Highly recommended!

We had the pleasure of staying at The Cliffs Lodge in Pangani and it was an absolutely exceptional experience. The lodge offers a peaceful and serene environment that immediately makes you feel at home. With only a few rooms, it provides an intimate and private experience, which makes the whole atmosphere incredibly charming and personal. The owners, a lovely Dutch couple, are some of the warmest and most engaging hosts I've ever encountered. They genuinely care about their guests and are always ready to share fascinating stories about their lives and insights in the Tanzanian life. The staff are also incredibly attentive and dedicated, always ensuring that every need is met with a smile. The level of care and service is truly remarkable and adds so much to the overall experience. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and authentic. You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into every dish. The Cliffs Lodge is the perfect getaway for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and experience something truly special. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Stunning place, 2 steps from the beach, we loved everything! Kimulimuli Ayurveda Spa retreat is not only a place, it’s an experience. Very friendly welcoming staff, big rooms, tastefully decorated, the best breakfast we had in Tanzania, very unique themed restaurant with super delicious food and absolutely amazing ayurveda spa. Definitely recommended us must see place when in Zanzibar snd Tanzania, and surely we will be back here next year.

Quiet location yet only 10 mins drive from Paje

For me, this was a five-star experience — not in an ultra-luxury sense, but in the way everything here brings you into a deep state of calm. The atmosphere, the people, the surroundings… everything feels in harmony. The hotel is located on the quiet, non-touristic side of Zanzibar, which makes it the perfect place to truly unwind. The staff are warm, attentive and incredibly helpful. They even connected me with local contacts for my art project, which I appreciated immensely. The rooms are minimalist and beautifully simple — exactly my style. And the pool is very large and wonderfully relaxing, ideal for spending long, peaceful moments by the water. Breakfast is generous, much more than a standard offering. The lunch and dinner menu is limited and mostly vegetarian/vegan, but every dish is prepared with care and tastes fresh and thoughtful. What makes this place even more special is its connection to the Hospitality School located on the same property. Most of the staff are young women in training, and all proceeds support their education and future opportunities. Knowing this makes the stay feel even more meaningful. If you’re looking for a place with heart, serenity and authenticity — rather than a typical luxury resort — this is truly something unique.
