Just a lovely hotel. Super comfortable room and a lovely lounge with a roaring log stove that was very welcome in mid-winter! Delicious breakfast with homemade yogurt. Will definitely be back and look forward to seeing it in summer. And a special mention for Sofia who is simply brilliant!

Such a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the most comfortable rooms and environment. The staff are so welcoming and can’t do enough to help. The breakfast is incredible. The hotel is a ten minute walk to the beach but it’s hard to leave the pool which is beautiful. Wish we had stayed longer

A big surprise in the hinterland of José Ignacio. When booking, I was unsure whether the minimalist architecture might be too sterile, but it wasn't. With only eight very spacious rooms, a very exclusive affair - there was only one other guest there with us. Nevertheless, there is the full hotel operation with a really exceptionally well-trained and friendly staff and a service that responds within seconds. Actually, it seems more like a private home that has been opened to allow a few guests to enjoy this place. Wonderful!

What an amazing, unique boutique hotel. Absolutely beautiful and we had a fabulous stay. A former government official's residence in years gone by, the hotel and room we stayed in was set around an inner courtyard. The decor is stunningly beautiful, traditional, light and airy, with quirky art on the walls and small uruguayan wooden sculptures dotted around and in every room. The breakfast room is a lovely space to relax in each morning and the breakfast is delicious and plentiful. The bed was large and very comfortable. The staff are very professional and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect - a 3 minute walk to the old town and to the sea one way, and the same distance to Av. General Flores, one of the main streets in Colonia. There is an abundance of restaurants, cafés, bars and shops on its doorstep. Guests can make use of a swimming pool on a Finca in the countryside which is around 10km away and free transport is provided for this. This experience was one of the highlights of our stay - it was unforgettable!!

There was not one thing we did not like about this hotel! Room 311 was The best. Friendly staff. A large room with seperate bedroom. Very clean. Everything you need in the kitchen, beach chairs and umbrella, nice deck with chairs etc. delicious breakfast. Location is perfect.

Location was great. A 5-10 minute walk to some great restaurants although the restaurant in the hotel was extremely good. The roof terrace bar had some great views. All the staff were very friendly but professional. We will definitely use this hotel and highly recommend it to friends and family
